Those who have been observing the style of functioning of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in the state assembly for the last few days are saying that he is trying to imitate late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
The way he is trying to put up a smile and laughing at opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu when the latter was speaking in the House, the way he is jotting down notes in a note book and the way he was trying to make sarcastic comments against the ruling party members – all these appear to be a poor imitation of YSR.
Unfortunately, Kiran lacks the grace and dignified attitude of YSR. When the former Chief Minister was speaking, the opposition party leaders had no words to counter him. Such was the intensity and power of his speech. But Kiran lacks punch in his speech. And he is no match for YSR. What is worse, he lacks the support from fellow ministers and MLAs. After all, he is no people’s man like YSR.

గత కొద్దికాలంగా తమను కలుస్తున్న రాష్ట్ర కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలకు ఆ పార్టీ హైకమాండ్ నుంచి వినిపిస్తున్న హితబోధ ఇది. రాష్ట్రంలో పార్టీ, ప్రభుత్వ పరిస్థితులు అస్తవ్యస్తంగా ఉన్న అంశాన్ని గుర్తించిన కాంగ్రెస్ ఢిల్లీ పెద్దలు రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో భారీ మార్పులకు అవకాశముంద న్న స్పష్టమైన సంకేతాలను పంపిస్తున్నారని పార్టీ సీనియర్ నేతలు చెబుతున్నారు. అయిదు రాష్ట్రాల ఎన్నికలు, మరోవైపు రాష్ట్రంలో ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్న తరుణంలో కొంత ఓపిగ్గా ఉండాలని రాష్ట్రనేతలకు నచ్చచెబుతున్నారు.

రాష్ట్ర కాంగ్రెస్‌లో ఒకవైపు ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి, మరోవైపు పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ వర్గాలు ఒకరినొకరు దెబ్బతీసుకొనే ప్రయత్నాలు పెద్ద ఎత్తున సాగిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రభుత్వంలో, పార్టీలో అవకాశాలు రాని సీనియర్ నేతలు కూడా మూడోవర్గంగా అసమ్మతి కార్యక్రమాలతో తెరపైకి వస్తున్నారు. ఈ మూడు వర్గాలూ ఒకరివెనుక ఒకరుగా హస్తినకు వెళ్తూ అధిష్టానం ముందు తమతమ వాదనలు వినిపిస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రికి వ్యతిరేకంగా బొత్స వర్గీయులు లిఖితపూర్వక ఫిర్యాదులు అందిస్తుండగా… అందుకు ప్రతిగా కిరణ్‌వర్గం నేతలు బొత్సపై ఫ్యాక్స్ ద్వారా ఫిర్యాదులు పంపిస్తున్నారు. ఇక బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ ఏదో ఒక సాకుతో పదేపదే ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లి సీఎం వైఫల్యాలను ఎండగట్టడమే ప్రధాన లక్ష్యంగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. వీరిద్దరి ఎత్తులు పైఎత్తులతో రాష్ట్రంలో పార్టీ, ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా భ్రష్టుపట్టాయని మూడోవర్గ నేతలూ అధిష్టానానికి నివేదికలు అందిస్తున్నారు.

సీఎం కిరణ్ వైఖరికి నిరసనగా మంత్రివర్గ విస్తరణకు ముందునుంచీ వ్యతిరేక ప్రచారాన్ని సాగిస్తున్న బొత్స వర్గీయులు.. విస్తరణ తరువాత దాడి ముమ్మరంచేశారు. తమ శాఖలకు సీఎం కోతపెట్టడంతో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ, మంత్రి డీఎల్ రవీంద్రారెడ్డిలు నేరుగా అధిష్టానానికి ఫిర్యాదులు అందించారు. డీఎల్ ఏకంగా కిరణ్‌తోపాటు ఆయన సోదరుల అవినీతి అక్రమాలపై సోనియాగాంధీకి నివేదికలు పంపారు. డీఎల్, బొత్స తదితరుల వ్యవహారాలపై కిరణ్ వర్గీయులూ పలు ఆరోపణాస్త్రాలు సంధించారు. మద్యం సిండికేట్ల వ్యవహారంతో బొత్సకు సంబంధించిన లొసుగులను కిరణ్ తవ్వితీస్తూ వాటినే ఆయుధంగా అధిష్టానం వద్ద పావులు కదుపుతున్నారు. సీఎంను మార్పు చేయాలని బొత్స వర్గీయులు ప్రతిపాదిస్తుండగా… పీసీసీ పీఠాన్ని తమ ప్రాంతానికి కేటాయించాలంటూ సీఎం వర్గం తెలంగాణ నేతలతో డిమాండ్ చేయిస్తోంది. మరోవైపు సీనియర్లు జానారెడ్డి, జేసీ దివాకర్‌రెడ్డి, గాదె వెంకటరెడ్డి, దామోదర్‌రెడ్డి తదితరులు కూడా సీఎంగా సీనియర్లను నియమిస్తేనే పార్టీ పరిస్థితి మెరుగుపడుతుందన్న వాదనను వినిపిస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఫిర్యాదులతోపాటు వివిధ మార్గాల ద్వారా తనకందే సమాచారంతో అధిష్టానం రాష్ట్రంలో పార్టీ, ప్రభుత్వ వ్యవహారాలు అధ్వానంగా మారాయన్న అభిప్రాయానికి వచ్చినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. 2 నెలలు ఓపికపడితే భారీ మార్పులుంటాయని, ఈలోగా తొందరపాటు నిర్ణయాలకు రావద్దని రాష్ట్ర నాయకులకు సర్దిచెబుతోందని ఢిల్లీ నుంచి తిరిగొచ్చిన నేతలు చెబుతున్నారు. ఒకటి రెండు నెలలు దాటాక రాష్ట్ర కాంగ్రెస్‌లో, ప్రభుత్వంలో అనూహ్య పరిణామాలు చోటుచేసుకుంటాయని అంటున్నారు.

శాసనసభలో మద్యం సిండికేట్లపై వాడివేడి చర్చ జరుగుతూ ప్రభుత్వంపై విపక్షాలు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విరుచుకుపడుతున్నా కొందరు మంత్రులు తమకేమీ పట్టనట్లుగానే వ్యవహరించారు. మద్యం సిండికేట్ల వ్యవహారంలో ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు మంత్రి బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ ఢిల్లీ నుంచి శుక్రవారం మధ్యాహ్నం అసెంబ్లీకి చేరుకున్నా సభలోకి వెళ్లకుండా తన చాంబర్‌కే పరిమితమయ్యారు. ఇదే విషయాన్ని మీడియా ఆయన దృష్టికి తీసుకురాగా… ‘ఎన్ని ఆరోపణలు చేసుకుంటారో చేసుకోనీయండి. నేను మాత్రం సభలోకి వెళ్లను. ఏదైనా ఉంటే సోమవారం సమాధానం చెప్తా’ అంటూ తెగేసి చెప్పారు. దాదాపు తన చాంబర్లో రెండుగంటలసేపు కూర్చున్న ఆయన సభకు రాకుండానే ఇంటికి వెళ్లిపోయారు. మరోమంత్రి డీఎల్ రవీంద్రారెడ్డి ఉదయం శాసనసభకు వచ్చి మద్యం చర్చ ప్రారంభమయ్యే సమయానికి అసెంబ్లీ నుంచి బయటకు వెళ్లిపోయారు. చర్చ సమయంలో సీఎం సభలోనే ఉన్నా.. తోట నర్సింహులుతోపాటు మరికొందరు మంత్రులు ఇంటికి వెళ్లిపోయారు. పలువురు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కూడా సాయంత్రానికే సభ నుంచి వెళ్లిపోవడం గమనార్హం.
If Kiran is changed then there is chance for Jana Reddy who is hardcore hater of YSR n Jagan. He also supports people like DL, JC, Damodar Reddy which is not gud for us.

Veteran journalist A.B.K. Prasad and Mr V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, auditor of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family have approached the income-tax authorities seeking a probe against media baron Ch. Ramoji Rao for alleged tax evasion of Rs 1,250 crore.
They filed a complaint before the commissioner of income-tax-IV of Hyderabad, alleging that Mr Ramoji Rao evaded tax by escaping assessment of over Rs 3,550 crore with tax evasion of over Rs 1250 crore (excluding interest leviable) by him and his business concerns. They said that there are glaring instances of tax evasion and investments by “sham” firms being consistently and regularly indulged in by Mr Ramoji Rao and his group companies in the past six years.

శాసనసభలో మద్యం సిండికేట్లపై వాడివేడి చర్చ జరుగుతూ ప్రభుత్వంపై విపక్షాలు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విరుచుకుపడుతున్నా కొందరు మంత్రులు తమకేమీ పట్టనట్లుగానే వ్యవహరించారు. మద్యం సిండికేట్ల వ్యవహారంలో ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు మంత్రి బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ ఢిల్లీ నుంచి శుక్రవారం మధ్యాహ్నం అసెంబ్లీకి చేరుకున్నా సభలోకి వెళ్లకుండా తన చాంబర్‌కే పరిమితమయ్యారు. ఇదే విషయాన్ని మీడియా ఆయన దృష్టికి తీసుకురాగా… ‘ఎన్ని ఆరోపణలు చేసుకుంటారో చేసుకోనీయండి. నేను మాత్రం సభలోకి వెళ్లను. ఏదైనా ఉంటే సోమవారం సమాధానం చెప్తా’ అంటూ తెగేసి చెప్పారు. దాదాపు తన చాంబర్లో రెండుగంటలసేపు కూర్చున్న ఆయన సభకు రాకుండానే ఇంటికి వెళ్లిపోయారు. మరోమంత్రి డీఎల్ రవీంద్రారెడ్డి ఉదయం శాసనసభకు వచ్చి మద్యం చర్చ ప్రారంభమయ్యే సమయానికి అసెంబ్లీ నుంచి బయటకు వెళ్లిపోయారు. చర్చ సమయంలో సీఎం సభలోనే ఉన్నా.. తోట నర్సింహులుతోపాటు మరికొందరు మంత్రులు ఇంటికి వెళ్లిపోయారు. పలువురు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కూడా సాయంత్రానికే సభ నుంచి వెళ్లిపోవడం గమనార్హం.

Grapevine has it that the chief executive officer of a popular television channel is now planning to take over I-News with the support of a prominent cable network operator.
At present, I-News is managed by Narendra Chowdary of NTV and he wants to retain 51 per cent stake in the I-News and offered to sell the remaining 49 per cent to the CEO, who is however, keen on taking over the entire stake. The deal is still being worked out, sources said.

The reply does not have donation as a word. It only specified gift. Tricky answer from the Carngie university. Ofcourse non of the university in the world will agree that they will admit students based on donations. Even in india the unverities like ‘Anna University’ accepts students with donations(12 Lacks in 2000). Carngie is a private university and I cannot see this univeristy a different than what we have here.

Veteran journalist A.B.K. Prasad and Mr V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, auditor of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family have approached the income-tax authorities seeking a probe against media baron Ch. Ramoji Rao for alleged tax evasion of Rs 1,250 crore.
They filed a complaint before the commissioner of income-tax-IV of Hyderabad, alleging that Mr Ramoji Rao evaded tax by escaping assessment of over Rs 3,550 crore with tax evasion of over Rs 1250 crore (excluding interest leviable) by him and his business concerns. They said that there are glaring instances of tax evasion and investments by “sham” firms being consistently and regularly indulged in by Mr Ramoji Rao and his group companies in the past six years.
