can we believe this?
Arresting Jagan is a sensitive issue because it might cause tensions and results in turmoil. Hence CBI has to prepare the ground, political and logistical, before going ahead. That means, central home minister, chief minister, DGP etc will have to be consulted. CBI can arrest anyone with or with out evidence, it does not care who and why and drag the case for years altogether.
I think we should not speculate at this point of time. However, if anyone (say chief minister or DGP) says he could not handle subsequent turmoil, the action will have to be averted.
I believe arrest or not depends more on political class than on evidences. So, if political class, such as central home minister, state chief minister or few others think such a move benefits them, they might go with the arrest.
I bet on arrest will be defered because the political class might not handle the situation at the same time when telangana is again erupting.
CBI to file chargwsheet by next Monday, 2 April. This is the last week. CBI JD is in Delhi now to take directions from Delhi bosses(Chidhu, Sonia Etc) on what to do next. Let us see.

No need to get tensed now. If they do not arrest YSRP will 150+ seats. If they arrest YSRP will get 190 seats. They have not shown any progress in the case. It all depends on congress HC decision now. Not on what CBI shows to court.

You are right Ram. He is blackmailing Congress high command for his ministry and also to remove Kiran.he lost hold and strength in chittoor dist BCz of Kiran and also lost many of his followers. As long as Kiran is there he knows that chances are bleak to regain his strength in congress. So he is searching for various options like below to regain his strength in chittoor dist.
1. Sticking with congress by getting ministry. This is his first option.
2. Joining YSRCP as jagan’s wave may bring him back ministry in 2014.
We need to see how the hardcore supporters of Jagan like Karunakar Reddy and chevireddy Bhaskara reddy accepts him as peddireddy may dominate them and also in district.

Peddi reddy got ministry in YS cabinet due to his son’s proximity with Jagan. and one of the reasons for strained relationship between Kiran and YS family. Jagan should make matters simple..just go by YSR legacy and dont go by local power brokers like peddireddy..
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy planning to resign soon if Kiran is not changed immediately. He is pitching for DS or Botsa for CM seat to get his Ministry back, but he failed in that attempt. So he is planning to resign and contest as a YSRCP candidate. He came to my Mandal recently and arranged meeting with Mandal leaders, requested them to support as he may take some decision. He will definitely WIN with good majority as he holds good grip in Pungunur constituency.

I’ve read about this news almost a week ago that Peddireddy has already notified high command about his intention to resign from assembly after the budget session is over.
There could be 2 reasons.
1. He is blackmailing to get inducted as minister.
2. He is certain that, like many others, congress has bleak chances in next round of elections, so prefering to board early.
I’m sure to witness many such exodus if YSRCP could manage significant seats in the ensuing by-polls.

హైదరాబాద్, మార్చి 25: అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు టిడిపికి ఉప ఎన్నికలు బాగా కలిసి వచ్చేవి. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం ప్రారంభం అయిన తరువాత కూడా ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపి ఎదురులేని శక్తిగా నిలిచింది. కానీ అధికారం పోయిన తరువాత ముఖ్యంగా 2009 ఎన్నికల తరువాత ప్రతి ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపి మరింతగా బలహీనపడుతోంది. 2004 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు ముందు తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం సాగుతున్న సమయంలోనే మెదక్ ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో సైతం టిడిపి విజయం సాధించింది. కానీ ఇప్పుడు మాత్రం ఉప ఎన్నికలంటే టిడిపికి ముందు నుయ్యి వెనక గొయ్యి అన్నట్టుగా మారింది. కేంద్రం తెలంగాణపై ప్రకటన చేసిన తరువాత 12 నియోజక వర్గాలకు ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరిగినప్పుడు పోటీ చేయాలా? వద్దా? అనే అంశంపై పార్టీలో విస్తృతంగా చర్చ జరిగింది. కొందరు నాయకులు పోటీ చేయవద్దని వాదించగా, దేవేందర్‌గౌడ్ లాంటి వాళ్లు పోటీ చేయాలని సూచించారు. పోటీని సీరియస్‌గా తీసుకుని సినీ నటుడు బాబుమోహన్, ఎమ్మెల్సీ నర్సారెడ్డి లాంటి వారిని రంగంలో దింపారు. పోలింగ్ సమీపిస్తుండగా పరిస్థితి అర్థం కావడంతో ఉప ఎన్నికల అంశాన్ని పక్కన పెట్టి బాబ్లీ పేరుతో ఉద్యమించి, మహారాష్ట్ర పోలీసుల అరెస్టు చేసే విధంగా బాబ్లీకి బయలు దేరారు. ఎన్నికల కన్నా మాకు బాబ్లీ ముఖ్యం అందుకే వెళ్లాం తప్ప ఎన్నికల నుండి తప్పించుకోవడానికి కాదు అని అప్పుడు బాబు ప్రకటించారు. ఇప్పుడు ఏడు నియోజక వర్గాలకు జరిగిన ఎన్నికల సమయంలో మాత్రం మాట మార్చారు, గతంలో నేను నియోజక వర్గానికి వెళ్లి ప్రచారం చేసే అవకాశం లేకుండేది కానీ ఇప్పుడు వెళ్లగలిగాను అని చెప్పుకొచ్చారు. బాన్సువాడ ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో కనీసం పోటీ చేయలేదు. 2009 తరువాత ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపి కూకట్‌పల్లి వార్డులో తప్ప ఎక్కడా గెలవలేకపోయింది. టిడిపి వార్డు మెంబర్ ఆకస్మిక మృతితో అతని భార్య పోటీ చేసి విజయం సాధించారు. సామాజిక వర్గం ఓట్లు చీలే అవకాశం ఉందని లోక్‌సత్తా పోటీ చేయకుండా చూసుకున్నారు. తెలంగాణలో టిడిపి బలపడిందనడానికి కూకట్‌పల్లి ఫలితమే నిదర్శనం అని చంద్రబాబు ప్రకటించారు. ఆ తరువాత కడప ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపిని బాగా కృంగ దీశాయి. అప్పటి వరకు తెలంగాణలో మాత్రమే డిపాజిట్లు కోల్పోయిన టిడిపి కడప, పులివెందుల ఎన్నికల్లో సైతం డిపాజిట్ కోల్పోయింది. పోటీ చేస్తే ఒక బాధ చేయకపోతే ఒక బాధ అంటూ ఉప ఎన్నికలపై బాబు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఏడు నియోజక వర్గాలకు జరిగిన ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో కనీసం ఒక్క సీటు కూడా దక్కలేదు. పైగా కేవలం రెండు చోట్ల మాత్రమే రెండవ స్థానం దక్కింది. నాలుగు చోట్ల మూడవ స్థానం ఒక చోట నాలుగవ స్థానంతో సరిపెట్టుకోక తప్పలేదు. ఇప్పుడు 18 నియోజక వర్గాల్లో ఉప ఎన్నికలు టిడిపిని ఇబ్బంది పెడుతున్నాయి. కొన్ని స్థానాల్లో నైనా విజయం సాధించకపోతే కేవలం మీడియా ప్రచారంతో పార్టీని బతికించుకోవడం కష్టమని టిడిపి సీనియర్ నాయకులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఇప్పటి వరకు జరిగిన ఉప ఎన్నికల మాదిరిగానే 18 స్థానాల్లో ఫలితాలు వస్తే అన్ని పార్టీల కన్నా ఎక్కువగా తామే నష్టపోవలసి ఉంటుందని సీనియర్లు తెలిపారు.
గత ఉప ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో అభ్యర్థుల ఎంపికపై చంద్రబాబు జాగ్రత్త వహిస్తున్నారు.
ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరిగే అన్ని జిల్లాల నాయకులతో సమావేశం నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. సమావేశంలో అభ్యర్థి ఎంపికపై అభిప్రాయాలు కోరుతున్నారు. అదే విధంగా జిల్లా నాయకులంతా కలిసి ఉప ఎన్నికల కోసం ఆయా నియోజక వర్గంలో ముగ్గురి పేర్లు సూచించాలని కోరారు. ఆ ముగ్గురిలో ఒకరికి టికెట్ ఇస్తారు. మీ సూచనల మేరకే అభ్యర్థిని ఎంపిక చేస్తాను, జయాపజయాల బాధ్యత మీదే అని చంద్రబాబు జిల్లా నాయకులకు చెబుతున్నారు. దీని వల్ల ఫలితాల తరువాత అసంతృప్తులు, నిరసనలు ఉండవని భావిస్తున్నారు.

రాయచోటిలో ఆయన జగన్, కాంగ్రెసు, టిడిపిలను లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకొని మాట్లాడారు. సీమలో ఎంఐఎం పార్టీ కార్యాలయాన్ని స్థాపించడంతో ఇన్నాళ్లూ అక్కడి మైనార్టీ ఓట్లపై భారీ ఆశలు పెట్టుకున్న పార్టీలకు ఆందోళన పట్టుకుంది. ఎంఐఎం కనుక బరిలోకి దిగితే గుంపగుత్తగా ఆ ఓట్లన్నీ ఆదే పార్టీకి పడతాయి. దీంతో తమకు కోలుకోలేని దెబ్బ తగులుతుందని అవి భావిస్తున్నాయి. రాయలసీమలో ఇప్పటి వరకు ముస్లిం వర్గాలు కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీని ఆదరిస్తూ వచ్చాయని చెప్పవచ్చు. ఇటీవల జగన్ కాంగ్రెసును వీడి వేరు కుంపటి పెట్టుకున్నారు. దీంతో ఆయనకూ మద్దతిస్తున్న వారు ఉన్నారు. అయితే ఎంఐఎం అక్కడ ఆరంగేట్రం చేయడంతో, ముస్లింల మద్దతు తమకే ఉంటుందని భావిస్తున్న ఆయా పార్టీలలో గుబులు పట్టుకుందని అంటున్నారు.
