A day ahead of the Presidential election, the YSR Congress has announced its decision to support United Progressive Alliance (UPA) nominee Pranab Mukherjee in the elections scheduled on Thursday. It will also back the UPA’s candidate for the vice-president’s post, Hamid Ansari.
Following the party’s decision, the battle lines are clearly drawn for the elections. The Congress, MIM, CPI (M), Lok Satta have decided to support Mr. Mukherjee, the TDP, and CPI will abstain while the BJP will back P.A. Sangma.
The “mood” in the Telangana Rashtra Samiti too is said to be in favour of abstaining as the party feels Mr. Mukherjee was responsible for the delay in the Centre’s decision on separate Telangana.
YSR Congress MP Mr. Rajamohan Reddy explained at a press conference here on Thursday that his party had decided to utilise the vote rather than remain neutral, which he said, was undemocratic.
TWO OPTIONS
Reading out the party’s policy announcement on the Presidential elections, Mr. Rajamohan Reddy said YSR Congress had two options before it, either vote or not vote. “As a responsible party facing such a situation, we did not want to set a bad example by not voting,” he said.
The YSRC MP pointed out that parties such as JD (U), Samajwadi Party, MIM, Bahujan Samaj Party, Shiv Sena and Left parties had decided to back Mr. Mukherjee’s candidature as they feel that he would act apolitical and independently. The Chanchalguda jail authorities said they have addressed a letter to police to shift Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and former Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana to the Assembly at 10 a.m.

Unfortunately we are in a judicial system where its been influenced by Politicians ( ruling party ) and Media. We really can’t say who is right and who is wrong based on judgements.
While supreme court judgement looks correct high court judgement on Jagan case based on a letter from Sankar Rao is totally questionable.
also remember “Reliance” is also part of this case, they will dispose most efficient lawyers who can argue well in front of judges. Ramoji and CBN are taking covers under Reliance.
Only one place we can get justice is Peoples court. We should keep fighting for poor people who really needs a strong political force to support them otherwise their life ends up in the hands of TDP corporate culture who mostly follows whatever corporate (losing KG to reliance ) and world bank ( farmers life became miserable ) says.
Strong TDP supporters are fighting us personally our victory on them should not be personal ( like in court cases ) that won’t lead us any where. Even if court says CBN is guilty or not guilty for people it doesn’t matter people doesn’t want to vote for TDP ( forget about CBN ) at least in 2014 term, unless we(YSRCP) gives them(people) a reason to Vote for TDP.
Out steps should be very careful and we should not get tired or frustrated while fighting for people. YSRCP might be doing small mistakes in terms of handling court cases or one or two incidents via Sakshi and Sakshi TV , that happens we always can’t do 100% perfect job. But our core is to fight for the people which should not be forgotten and YSRCP never did. Recent Dharna in siricilla proves what we are up to.

మూడు నెలల విలువైన కాలాన్ని వృధా చేసి – కేసును తగినంత పకడ్బందీగా తయారు చేయలేని అసమర్థతను కప్పిపుచ్చుకోవడం జగన్ నియమించుకున్న లాయర్ల విశ్వసనీయతను దెబ్బ తీసే విషయం.

సుప్రీంకోర్టు కూడా స్పష్టంగా అంతకు ముందు వైయస్సార్ వేసిన కేసులగురించి కానీ, తతిమ్మా సభాకమిటీల గురించి కానీ ప్రస్తుత పిటిషన్లో ‘ వుద్దేశ్యపూర్వకంగా’ ప్రస్తావించలేదని తలంటితే మాత్రం – ఆ తప్పు పిటిషన్ వేసిన విజయమ్మది ఎంతమాత్రమూ కాదు – పిటిషన్ ని లోపభూయిష్టంగా తయారు చేసిన ఘనతవహించిన న్యాయవాదులే దానికి బాధ్యత వహించాలి !

my brother attended the deeksha in Sirisilla today. It is a grand success. KTR lost his face in his own constituency. I believe lot of local people are finding fault with KTR for unnecessarily trying to block the dharna. Yesterday the Dhoom Dham KTR arranged in Siricilla with likes of Vijayasanthi was a utter flop (Partly due to the rain also). All said and said the Dharna is a grand success it seems.

I do not understand the rationale of going to SC against CBN. These PIL’s are rarely allowed. I think YSRCP is throwing at CBN opportunity to come back. Fixation with CBN has to go . YSRCP has to move on and focus on its strengths. Having taken to SC , onus is on YSRCP to lodge complaints with respective departments .

We have to stop suspecting everyone. Assuming that is true, we have to operate under given conditions. YSRCP should not waste their energies on these issues. They should wait for the opportunity to strike.
Murthy garu, if SC would have rejected the PIL against Babu while there was no precedent, then we would have thought they did it on technical grounds and as per their understanding of the law. But, here there was a precedent. The same SC refused Jagan’s appeal and allowed the PIL against him. How can there be dual standards?
If anything, Jagan was never in a position of power except the MP post he has since mid 2009. Babu is the longest serving CM of the state. So, SC should have done the opposite of what they did.
I agree with what Murthy garu said about concentrating our energies though. Jagan’s advisors should have assessed how much Babu’s influence could be and not filed such a PIL until the appropriate time arrives. I am thinking that the appropriate time would have been 2014 when this government would be routed out.
Again, I don’t mean to say that we should resort to political vendetta. It is more a matter of public interest than vendetta here. Despite all the grave injustice Babu, Congress HC and their agents (CBI, ED, Judges etc.) did to Jagan and the hardships they put him to, those are nothing in front of the massive loss caused by Babu’s scams to the common man.
Imagine how many farmers could have been saved from committing suicide if Babu managed KG basin fairly and used that money to give loan waivers instead of taking kickbacks in black from Ambanis and giving it to Ramoji and his benamis.
Action should be taken against such scamsters and those who are involved in it for two reasons:
Recovery: Recover as much of the loot as possible to give back to the people of the state who suffered due to these scams.
Instill fear of law: Tough action against them would create a fear in potential future scamsters and help to stop such things from recurring.

Did Sankar Rao and TDP complain to concern depts like ACB,CBI,ED in case of Jagan before going to Court? No, still those petitions were considered and cases were initiated with the indirect orders from Congress.
In Babu’s case, both Ambani and Congress are protecting him.

VIJAYAWADA: The volatile political situation in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is believed to have forced Tollywood star Junior NTR to abandon his plans to visit the city ostensibly to inaugurate a jewellery showroom on Sunday.
Junior NTR is the brand ambassador for the jewellery line and the actor’s presence was sought at the opening of the Vijayawada showroom keeping in view his fan following in the region. So far, he has only appeared in advertisements for the brand and only agreed to attend one of their events in person keeping in mind his sentimental attachment with the city and the district at large.
However, quite unexpectedly, the actor told them at the last minute that he would not be available any time in the coming three months and requested them to go ahead with the launch without him. The jewellers have now roped in veteran actress Hema Malini to fill in for Jr NTR. Sources said that Jr NTR’s sudden change of heart may have something to do with the likelihood of him having to face the ire of fans following Gudivada MLA and staunch follower Kodali Nani’s decision to switch allegiance to YSR Congress. While Nani has been suspended from the party, the future of TDP urban committee president Vallabhaneni Vamsi, another Jr NTR loyalist, is still uncertain.
In view of the recent political developments within the party, a majority of Nandamuri loyalists, especially those belonging to the Kamma community, have not only disowned Nani and Vamsi for their overtures to Jagan but also threatened to snap ties with the young actor.

సాధారణంగా ఎన్నికలు సమీపించే సమయానికి అటు ప్రజల్లోనూ, ఇటు ఎమ్మెల్యేల సంఖ్య పరంగానూ ప్రధాన ప్రతిపక్షం బలం పెరుగుతూ ఉంటుంది. 1989నుంచి 1994వరకు టిడిపి ప్రతిపక్షంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు అదే జరిగింది. 93 ప్రాంతంలో జరిగిన ఉప ఎన్నికలతోనే 94 సాధారణ ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపి విజయం ఖాయం అనే అభిప్రాయం ఏర్పడింది. కానీ, ఇప్పుడు రాష్ట్రంలో మాత్రం దీనికి భిన్నమైన పరిస్థితి కనిపిస్తోంది. 2009లో జరిగిన సాధారణ ఎన్నికల్లో టిడిపి 92 స్థానాల్లో విజయం సాధించగా, ఇప్పుడు ఆ పార్టీకి 81 మంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలు మాత్రమే ఉన్నారు. సంఖ్య తగ్గిన పదకొండు మందిలో కొందరు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు టిఆర్‌ఎస్, వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్, కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో చేరిపోగా, ఇంకొందరు ఎటూ చేరకుండా ఇంకా స్వతంత్ర అభ్యర్థులుగానే ఉన్నారు. గుడివాడ ఎమ్మెల్యే నానితో కలిపి తాజాగా సస్పెండైన ఐదుగురిలో చిన్నం రామకోటయ్య కాంగ్రెస్‌లో చేరడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యారు. బాలనాగిరెడ్డి వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌లో చేరనున్నారు. ఇక తెలంగాణకు చెందిన ఇద్దరు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు హరీశ్వర్‌రెడ్డి, సముద్రాల వేణుగోపాలాచారి ఏ పార్టీలోనూ చేరలేదు. తెలంగాణపై కేంద్రం తీసుకునే నిర్ణయాన్నిబట్టి ఎన్నికల నాటికి పరిస్థితులు ఎలా ఉంటాయో చూసి ఒక నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలనే ఆలోచనలో ఉన్నారు. ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో స్వతంత్ర అభ్యర్థిగా విజయం సాధించిన నాగం జనార్దన్‌రెడ్డితో కలిసి ఈ ఇద్దరు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఏ పార్టీలో చేరాలో ఇప్పటి వరకు నిర్ణయించుకోలేదు. ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో పార్టీ ఒక్కసీటు కూడా విజయం సాధించక పోవడం, తెలంగాణలోనే కాకుండా సీమాంధ్రలో సైతం పార్టీ ఉప ఎన్నికల్లో మంచి ప్రభావం చూపకపోవడంతో కొందరు నేతలు ఆలోచనల్లో పడ్డారు. తెలంగాణ అంశంపై కేంద్రం ఒక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్న తరువాత దానికి తగ్గట్టు కొందరు నేతలు ఎటు వెళ్లాలో నిర్ణయించుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఎమ్మెల్యేలే కాకుండా దిగువస్థాయి శ్రేణులు పార్టీ వీడి వెళ్లడం టిడిపి నాయకులకు ఆందోళన కలిగిస్తోంది. ఒకటి రెండు విజయాలు లభించేంత వరకు పరిస్థితి ఇలానే ఉంటుందని, కంగారు పడవద్దని చంద్రబాబు నేతలకు నచ్చజెపుతున్నారు. ‘మనం ఎన్ని మాటలు చెప్పినా ప్రయోజనం ఉండదు. విజయం సాధించేంత వరకు జనం మన మాటలు నమ్మరు. కానీ మనం చివరి వరకూ పోరాడాలి. పరిస్థితులను మనకు అనుకూలంగా మార్చుకోవాలి’ అని సీనియర్లతో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో చంద్రబాబు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
ఇప్పటి వరకు ఆదిలాబాద్ (వేణుగోపాలాచారి, జోగు రామన్న), నిజామాబాద్ (పోచారం శ్రీనివాస్‌రెడ్డి, గంపగోవర్దన్) జిల్లాల నుంచి ఇద్దరేసి ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, కరీంనగర్ (చెన్నమనేని రమేష్), రంగారెడ్డి (హరీశ్వర్‌రెడ్డి), మహబూబ్‌నగర్ (నాగం జనార్దన్‌రెడ్డి) జిల్లాల నుంచి ఒక్కరేసి, కృష్ణా జిల్లా ( నాని, చిన్నం రామకోటయ్య) నుంచి ఇద్దరు, నెల్లూరు (నల్లపరెడ్డి ప్రసన్నకుమార్‌రెడ్డి), కర్నూలు (బాలనాగిరెడ్డి) జిల్లాల నుంచి ఒక్కో ఎమ్మెల్యే పార్టీ వీడి వెళ్లారు. ఎన్నికల వాతావరణం మొదలయ్యాక పరిస్థితి ఎలా ఉంటుందో అంతు చిక్కడం లేదని పార్టీ నేతలు కొందరు ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారు.

అబ్దుల్ కలాంను రాష్ట్రపతిని చేసిం ది నేనే’’.. అంటూ గొప్పలు పోయిన చంద్రబాబు.. గురువారం జరిగిన రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల్లో ఓటు వేసే ధైర్యమే చేయలేకపోయారు. ఓటు విలువపై ఊకదంపుడు ప్రసంగాలు చేసిన టీడీపీ అధినేత.. తనతోపాటు పార్టీ ప్రజాప్రతినిధులందరినీ ఓటు హక్కుకు దూరంగా ఉంచారు. అత్యంత కీలకమైన దేశ ప్రథమ పౌరుడి ఎన్నికకు తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ దూరంగా ఉండాలన్న చంద్రబాబునాయుడు నిర్ణయంపై ఆ పార్టీ నేతల్లో ఇప్పటికీ విస్తృతమైన చర్చ జరుగుతూనే ఉంది.
అత్యున్నతమైన రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నిక విషయంలో ఒక దిశా నిర్దేశం లేకుండా వ్యవహరించడమేనని పలువురు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ‘‘జాతీయ స్థాయిలో మారుతున్న రాజకీయ పరిణామాల నేపథ్యంలో ఎన్టీయే భాగస్వామ్య పక్షాలు సైతం యూపీఏ అభ్యర్థికి మద్దతు ప్రకటించాయి. యూపీఏకు దూరంగా ఉంటున్న సీపీఎంలాంటి పార్టీలు కూడా ప్రణబ్ ముఖర్జీకి మద్దతిచ్చాయి.
రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల్లో తటస్థంగా ఉండటానికి చంద్రబాబు చెబుతున్న కారణాలను అదే పార్టీ నేతలు కొట్టిపారేస్తున్నారు. ‘‘ఏ కాంగ్రెస్‌కు వ్యతిరేకంగా టీడీపీ పుట్టిందని చె బుతున్నామో అదే పార్టీ మద్దతుతో కేంద్రంలో మంత్రి పదవులను అనుభవించలేదా? ఏ బీజేపీని మతతత్వ పార్టీగా ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నా మో అదే పార్టీతో పొత్తు పెట్టుకుని అధికారాన్ని చేజిక్కించుకోవటంతో పాటు లోక్‌సభ స్పీకర్ పదవిని తీసుకోలేదా? అప్పుడు లేని అభ్యంతరాలు రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలప్పుడు మాత్రమే ఎందుకు వచ్చాయి’’ అనే అనుమానాన్ని నేతలు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. బలహీనమైన నాయకత్వానికి ఇది బల మైన ఉదాహరణ అని అభివర్ణిస్తున్నారు.

వెంటాడుతున్న నిజాలు
‘‘చంద్రబాబు టీడీపీ అధ్యక్ష బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన తర్వాత 1996లో కాంగ్రెస్ మద్దతుతో కేంద్రంలోని యునెటైడ్ ఫ్రంట్ ప్రభుత్వంలో పదవులు తీసుకుని అధికారాన్ని అనుభవించాం. అప్పట్లో ఢిల్లీ రాజకీయాల్లో చంద్రబాబు చక్రం తిప్పారు. 1998లో జరిగిన లోక్‌సభ ఎన్నికల్లో వాజ్‌పేయి నేతృత్వంలో ఎన్డీఏ విజయం సాధించింది. అప్పటివరకూ బీజేపీ మసీదులు కూలుస్తుంటే తాము మసీదులు కట్టిస్తున్నామని ఊరూవాడ ప్రచారం చేసిన చంద్రబాబు ఒక్కసారిగా ప్లేటు ఫిరాయించారు. బీజేపీ పంచన చేరారు.
కార్గిల్ యుద్ధం సమయంలో బీజేపీకి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఆదరాభిమానాలు పెరగటాన్ని గ్రహించి 1999 సాధారణ ఎన్నికల్లో అదే పార్టీతో చంద్రబాబు పొత్తు పెట్టుకున్నారు. ఆ ఎన్నికల్లో బీజేపీ, వాజ్‌పేయి కార్డును ఉపయోగించి చంద్రబాబు రాష్ట్రంలో అధికారం సాధించారు. తరువాత గుజరాత్ రాష్ట్రంలో గోద్రా సంఘటన అనంతరమూ చంద్రబాబు బీజేపీని అంటిపెట్టుకున్ని ఉన్నారు. 2004 ఎన్నికల్లో కూడా బీజేపీతో పొత్తు కొనసాగించారు. ఆ ఎన్నికల్లో అటు కేంద్రంలో బీజేపీ కూటమి, ఇటు రాష్ట్రంలో టీడీపీ, బీజేపీ కూటమి చిత్తుగా ఓడిపోయాయి. బీజేపీ ప్రాభవం కోల్పోతోందని గ్రహించిన చంద్రబాబు.. ఆ పార్టీకి దూరం కావడం ప్రారంభించారు.
అయితే, ఆ పార్టీ నేతలతో సన్నిహిత సంబంధాలు కొనసాగిస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. 2004, 2009 ఎన్నికల్లో టీడీపీ ఘోర పరాజయానికి మైనారిటీలను దూరం చేసుకోవడమేనని గమనించిన తర్వాత.. బీజేపీ మతతత్వ పార్టీ అంటూ విమర్శించడం మొదలెట్టారు. ఇవన్నీ అవకాశవాద ఎత్తుగడలేనని ప్రజలు గ్రహించారు.
మ్యాచ్ ఫిక్సింగ్‌లతో కుదేలు
ఇటీవలి కాలంలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీతో మ్యాచ్ ఫిక్సింగ్‌లు చేసుకోవడమూ పార్టీని మరింత కుంగదీసిందని సీనియర్లు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు. 2009 సాధారణ ఎన్నికల అనంతరం జరిగిన అనేక ఉప ఎన్నికలు, శాసన మండలి ఎన్నికల్లో కాంగ్రెస్‌తో చంద్రబాబు సందర్భానుసారంగా మ్యాచ్ ఫిక్సింగ్ చేసుకున్న విషయం బహిరంగ రహస్యమే. ఇటీవలి ఉప ఎన్నికలతో సహా అన్ని ఎలక్షన్లలో పరస్పరం ఓట్లు బదలాయించుకున్న విషయమూ బయటపడింది. సందర్భాన్ని బట్టి అటు కాంగ్రెస్‌తో, ఇటు బీజేపీతోనూ చెలిమి చేయడం, కీలకమైన రాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికల్లోనూ తప్పుడు నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడంద్వారా ప్రజల్లో పార్టీ మరింత పలచనైపోయిందన్న అభిప్రాయం పార్టీలో సర్వత్రా వ్యక్తమవుతోంది.

TRS, TDP cosying up again to each other?

Politics is dynamic and keeps changing. And, in politics there are no permanent enemies or friends. This seems true in the case of the TDP and TRS.
The strong rivals in the Telangana region _ Telugu Desam and Telangana Rashtra Samiti _ are preparing to work together if the recent political developments are any indication. Interestingly, both the arch rivals may join hands on the Telangana issue which separated them after the 2009 elections and are showing.
In a change of strategy TRS leaders began dealing with the TDP from a different perspective. Their attacks on the party have slowly lost their sting and have even become soft. It became clear when the TRS and the TJAC refrained from attacking the TDP in the just-concluded Parkal byelection in Warangal district. Needless to say, the TDP has improved its vote percentage.
For its part, the TDP too has had a rethink and shed its belligerence towards the TRS. It has declared that it is ready to submit a fresh letter to the Union government on Telangana. It may do so in the coming one month.
Though one cannot read too much into it, it is interesting to note that the TDP too boycotted the presidential election as the TRS did.
Naidu has announced that his party will field BCs for 100 Assembly seats, most of them in Telangana. The Telangana TDP Forum has decided to provide financial assistance to the families of those who laid down their lives during the Telangana movement.
All of a sudden, TDP leaders including the more strident M.Narsimhulu and Revant Reddy have stopped raising their voice against TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. “We are not against the TRS but we have only reacted on issues,” one Telangana TDP leader said.
Another sign of TDP-TRS bonhomie is TRS leaders’ strident attack on YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party for participating in the presidential election and voting in favour of Congress candidate Pranab Mukherjee. Several TRS leaders are surprised that their party’s top leaders are targeting the YSRCP and Jagan more than the TDP.

తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ అధినేత చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రకటించిన ‘బీసీ డిక్లరేషన్ వంద సీట్ల మంత్రం’ కొత్తసీసాలో పాత సారాయి లాంటిది. ఆయన మాటల్లో విశ్వసనీయత లేదు. రాష్ట్రంలో టీడీపీ భవిష్యత్తు రోజురోజుకూ ప్రశ్నార్థకం అవుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో షాక్‌కు గురైన ఆ పార్టీ అధినేత బీసీల కోసం కొంగ జపం చేస్తున్నారు. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ 1996లో బీసీ పాలసీ ప్రకటించి అందులో ఒక్క విధాన నిర్ణయాన్ని కూడా అమలు చేయలేదు. 2001లో ‘విజన్ -2020 వ్యూహ పత్రాలను ప్రకటించి, 2004 వరకు ఆ పార్టీ అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఏ ఒక్క ప్రతిపాదన అమలుకు నోచుకోలేదు. టీడీపీ 2008లో వరంగల్ బీసీ గర్జన మహాసభను నిర్వహించి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై దుమ్మెత్తిపోసింది. నాటి సభలో 100 సీట్లను బీసీలకు ప్రకటించి 60 స్థానాల్లో కూడా బీసీలను నిలబెట్టలేదు. ఆ సభలో బీసీలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీని తుంగలో తొక్కిన చంద్రబాబు తన నైజాన్ని చాటుకున్నాడు. ఇప్పుడు కూడా బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు అంటూనే ‘గెలుపు గుర్రాలకే’ టికెట్లు అని ప్రకటించడం టీడీపీ అధికార దాహాన్ని స్పష్టం చేస్తున్నది. ఇది బాబు రెండు కళ్ల సిద్ధాంతంలోని అంతర్గత వ్యూహంగానే ఆలోచించాల్సి వస్తుంది. ఎలాగైనా అధికారాన్ని దక్కించుకోవాలనే పదవీ కాంక్ష తప్ప బీసీలపై బాబుకు ఏమాత్రం చిత్తశుద్ధి లేదు. టీడీపీ మద్దతుతో ఎన్డీఏ ప్రభుత్వం కేంద్రంలో అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు బీసీల అభివృద్ధిని ఏ మాత్రం కాంక్షించకుండా, ఇప్పుడేమో జాతీయస్థాయిలో ఉద్యమిస్తామనడం హాస్యాస్పదం. జాతీయ బీసీ కమిషన్‌కు ‘రాజ్యాంగబద్ధ’ హోదా కోసం ఇప్పటి నుంచి ఉద్యమిస్తామనడాన్ని బట్టి టీడీపీ ఎత్తుగడను అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు.
బీసీల్లోని వృత్తి కులాల వారి కోసం ‘ఆదరణ’ పథకాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. టీడీపీ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలోనే అవినీతి, లోపభూయిష్ట విధానాలతో ఆ పథకం భ్రష్టు పట్టింది. దీంతో అది ఆగిపోయింది. 2000 మార్చిలో కాగ్ తన రిపోర్టులో ప్రభుత్వ నిర్వాకాన్ని తప్పుపట్టింది.తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు బీసీ కార్పొరేషన్‌కు, ఫెడరేషన్లకు అరకొరా నిధులు కేటాయించింది. ఆ సంస్థలను నిర్వీర్యం చేసింది. ఉద్యోగులు కూడా సకాలంలో జీతాలు అందక నానా అగచాట్లు పడ్డారు.
మెరిట్ కమ్ మీన్స్ విధానంతో మెస్ చార్జీలు/స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌లు మంజూరు చేసిన కారణంగా మార్కులు తక్కువగా ఉన్న విద్యార్థులు ‘రక్తం అమ్ముకుని’ చదువులు కొనసాగించారు. నాడు ప్రధాన దినపవూతికల్లో పతాక శీర్షికలతో ఈ వార్తలు ప్రచురితమయ్యాయి. ఈ వాస్తవాలు దాచేస్తే దాగవు.
బాబు ఆచరణలో శూన్యహస్తాలను చూపించి, గతంలో ప్రకటించిన వాగ్దానాల్ని భంగంచేసి, మళ్లీ వాటినే కొత్తగా ప్రకటిస్తే బీసీలు ఆయనను నమ్మే స్థితిలో లేరు. వారి చైతన్యాన్ని గమనించకుండా టీడీపీ ఎత్తుగడలు వేస్తే అభాసుపాలు కాక తప్పదు. ఆర్థికంగా దివాలా తీసిన పరిస్థితుల్లో ఓట్ అన్ అకౌంట్ బడ్జెట్ ప్రవేశ పెట్టిన ఘనత టీడీపీ ప్రభుత్వానిదే. సంక్షేమ రంగానికి అరకొరా నిధులు విడుదల చేసి ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో ఖర్చు చేయరాదని మౌఖిక ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చి, నిధులు మురిగిపోయేలా చేసింది బాబుకాదా?
Five TDP MLAs defy party diktat, vote in president poll
In a clear indication that they are all set to part ways with Chandrababu Naidu, 5 TDP MLAs defied the party’s stand on presidential poll and turned up for voting here on Thursday.
The five TDP MLAs who defied Naidu were S Venugopalachari (Mudhole ), Hariswar Reddy (Pargi), Balanagi Reddy (Mantralayam), Kodali Nani (Gudiwada), and Chinnam Ramakotiah (Nuzved). According to sources, four of them have already drifted away and are to join hands with Jaganmohan Reddy while the fifth, Ramakotaiah, is likely to join the ruling Congress.
The TDP has a total strength of 86 MLAs in the assembly. Naidu had announced on Tuesday that his party would abstain from voting in the presidential election. “While these five legislators defying the party diktat may not be surprising, what can be unsettling for Naidu is that many more could be waiting in the wings,” said TDP sources.

Harishwar Reddy is a very senior (5 wins?) and powerful leader with a good reputation in Parigi. He would be an asset to YSRCP. Although he was in TDP, he was not like the other yellow fellows.
Balanagi Reddy may be a decent person too.
But coming to Venugopalachary, his name figured in a shameful scandal and there wasn’t even a condemnation from his side. Moreover, he already moved to TRS. He is not fit to join YSRCP. I hope Jagan doesn’t accept him even if he attempts to join.
I am still awaiting the arrival of Sai Pratap to our party. He is a YSR loyalist and a very senior and capable leader. He would be like another Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, even more senior and closer to YSR.
Sabbam Hari is another sensible leader who is already helping our party and representing it on television debates but it would be nice if he officially quits the dirty Sonia Congress and joins YSR Congress.

From the reliable sources I got the information that Hareeshwar Reddy and Kamatam Ram Reddy(Ex Revenue minister in Kotlas cabinet) from parigi are all set to join ysrcp. Hareeshwar Reddy is a good asset for the part but Ram Reddy is not so strong in the area, He will come out only during the elections and will work for his benefits. Instead our party should woo T Rammohan Reddy (of TRR educational institutions) of congress who is very strong in this area. He has very good name in the public and is developing the constituency more than Harishwar Reddy without the power. I met him couple of times and he is very polite and down to earth. He contested as an independent and stood second by pushing Ram Reddy of cong to 3rd.
Jagan anna referred his name for cong candiate in 2009 but got rejected. So our party should concentrate on people like this.

Telugu Desam Party N Chandrababu Naidu is making every effort to project himself as a saviour of backward classes so as to garner their support to the party in the next elections.
According to grapevine, Naidu is spending lakhs of rupees on “paid felicitations” to convey to the outside world that the BCs are overwhelmed by his recent announcement of allotting 100 party tickets to them in the next assembly elections.
In the last few days, one BC group or the other is mobilizing crowds to NTR Trust Bhavan everyday and felicitating Naidu in a big way for showering sops on the BCs.
Sources said Naidu is paying Rs 5 lakh to each group for felicitating him and giving media statements that he was the true champion of BCs. One wonders whether such cheap tactics would really fetch any mileage among the people in the elections.

There seems to be more to Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to abstain from voting in the Presidential elections than what meets the eye.
According to party sources, the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu initially decided to vote in favour of Pranab Mukherjee, since he got enough hints that YSR Congress party, too, would be voting for Pranab. He even told the media persons off the record in the past that being a major opposition party in the state with 86 MLAs and 11 MPs, it might not be appropriate for his party to stay away from the polls. He also described Pranab as a senior parliamentarian and a knowledgeable person.
But suddenly on Tuesday evening, Naidu took the decision to stay away from the polling.
Party sources said the TDP president had received credible information that at least a dozen MLAs from the party might vote for NDA candidate P A Sangma. Since it is a secret ballot and there is no whip involved, it would be difficult to identity them while voting. If the party abstains from the polling, these MLAs would not be able to go to the assembly and cast their vote.
And Naidu knows that even if the TDP abstains, Pranab would win the elections as Trinamul Congress chief Mamata Banerjee decided to support him. Thus, Naidu thought it would be better to stay away from polling, rather than allowing the black sheep within the party to vote for Sangma!

బాబు గారే ఓటు వేయకపోవడము రాజ్యాంగ ద్రోహం అన్న రేంజ్ లో గతంలో మాట్లాడారు మరి!
ఇంతా చేసి జగన్ ను ఆడిపోసుకోవడం అంటే “It is like pot calling kettle black”.

సాక్షి ఒక వార్తా పత్రిక , శివసేనకు ‘ సామ్నా ‘ లాగా , ఒక పార్టీ కి అధికార పత్రిక కాదు . వైయ్యెసార్ సీపీ అధికారిక నిర్ణయాలకు , సాక్షి తాన తందానా ఏమిటో అర్థం కాని విషయం . ఇదే విషయాన్ని – ” ” అని వైయ్యెసార్ సీపీ అధికార ప్రతినిధి చెప్పారు అని వ్రాయడం ఒక పద్ధతి , అది కాకుండా సాక్షి పత్రికా / లేక ఛానెలే అధికారప్రతినిధి అవతారమెత్తడం వేరు . ఈ నిజం సాక్షి ప్రతినిధులు ఎంత త్వరగా గుర్తిస్తే అంత మంచిది .

Yellow Media is hell-bent on defaming YSRCP
Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy garu is a very good gentle man and he never criticizes others with harsh words.
We should have allowed some other in his place for press briefing, may be Jupudi.
YSRCP had supported TDP when Babu introduced No-Confidence motion.
Babu supported Congress President Narayananan when he was heading national front.
Babu himself told few days back Pranab was the right candidate for President post in view of his stature and experience.
In fact Babu should have supported Sangma as he came to power in 1999 only because of BJP. TDP supported NDA for 5 years and Babu ditched even BJP when BJP lost power.Babu is a rank opportunist.
I saw Mekapati gari Interview yesterday.He did not say There was no Congress hand in jagan cases.He merely said”పాపము, కాంగ్రెస్ వాళ్ళు జగన్ పై కేసుల్లో తమ పాత్ర లేదు అంటున్నారు అని విలేకరులు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు వ్యంగ్యంగా చెప్పాడు.”
