హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 20: రాష్ట్రంలో బీసీ రాజకీయం రసవత్తరంగా సాగుతోంది. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ చేసిన ‘వంద టికెట్లు కాదు, బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు’ అనే ప్రతిపాదనను బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘ అధ్యక్షుడు ఆర్ కృష్ణయ్య ఆహ్వానించారు. కానీ టిడిపి నేతలు మాత్రం జరుగుతున్న పరిణామాలపై మండిపడుతున్నారు. ‘మేం వంద అంటే మీరు 105 అనండి పరవాలేదు. కానీ లేఖ ఏమిటి? దాన్ని ఉప సంహరించుకోండి’ అంటూ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌ను డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. టిడిపి బీసీ డిక్లరేషన్ పేరిట బీసీలకు అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో వంద సీట్లు కేటాయిస్తామని ప్రకటించి ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌లో తెదేపా హడావుడికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. వివిధ కుల సంఘాల నేతలను ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌కు తీసుకొచ్చి బాబును సత్కరించే బాధ్యతను జిల్లా నేతలకు పార్టీ నాయకత్వం అప్పగించింది. బీసీల నుంచి రోజూ ఒక కులం నాయకులు ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌కు వచ్చి బాబును అభినందించే కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతంగా సాగుతోంది. ఈ హడావుడి కాస్త తగ్గుముఖం పడుతున్న సమయంలో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి ఊహించని విధంగా బీసీ రాజకీయం మొదలైంది. ‘వంద టికెట్లు కాదు, వంద సీట్లు కేటాయిద్దాం’ అంటూ వైఎస్ విజయమ్మ చంద్రబాబుకు రాసిన లేఖ టిడిపిని ఇరకాటంలో పెట్టింది. టిఆర్‌ఎస్ పార్టీ తెలంగాణ వాదంపై పేటెంట్ హక్కుగా భావిస్తున్న స్థాయిలో బీసీ అంశానికి పేటెంట్ హక్కు మాదేననే స్థాయిలో టిడిపి ప్రచారం సాగించాలని వ్యూహాత్మకంగా వ్యవహరించింది. అయితే ఈలోగా వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి కొత్త ప్రతిపాదన తెరపైకి వచ్చింది. బీసీ టికెట్లపై మీ అభిప్రాయం చెప్పాలి అని కాంగ్రెస్, వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌లను టిడిపి డిమాండ్ చేసింది. తీరా వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ కొత్త మెలిక పెట్టడంతో లేఖను ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని టిడిపి మాజీ మంత్రి బండారు సత్యనారాయణ డిమాండ్ చేశారు. టిడిపి బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు ఇస్తామంటే, మీరు 105 అని చెప్పండి. అంతే తప్ప ఇదేంటి అంటూ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రతిపాదనపై టిడిపి రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి వర్ల రామయ్య విమర్శించారు. మరో ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి అనురాధ ఇతర నేతలు సైతం ఇదేవిధంగా విమర్శించారు.
గత ఎన్నికల్లో హామీ ఇచ్చి బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు ఇవ్వలేకపోయినప్పటికీ, ఈసారి మాత్రం బాబు కచ్చితంగా వంద సీట్లు ఇవ్వాలనే నిర్ణయంతోనే ఉన్నారని టిడిపి సీనియర్ నాయకులు తెలిపారు. అయితే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రతిపాదనను ఆమోదించే అవకాశం లేదని తెలిపారు. వంద మందికి టికెట్లు ఇవ్వడం కాదు, అసెంబ్లీకి పంపిద్దాం అంటూ ఆ పార్టీ చేసిన సూచన మంచిదే కానీ ఒకవేళ మేం దాన్ని ఆమోదిస్తే అది వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ప్రయోజనం తప్ప మాకొచ్చే ప్రయోజనం ఏముందని టిడిపి నాయకులు ప్రశ్నించారు. మెజారిటీ నియోజక వర్గాల్లో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌కు ఇంకా అభ్యర్థులు ఖరారు కాలేదు. వీటిలో వంద నియోజక వర్గాలను బీసీ నియోజక వర్గాలుగా గుర్తించి కేటాయించేందుకు ఆ పార్టీకి వచ్చే నష్టం ఏమీ లేదు. కానీ టిడిపి అలా చేస్తే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌ను అనుసరించినట్టు అవుతుందని టిడిపి నాయకులు తెలిపారు. అంతేకాదు ఇబ్బంది లేని వంద నియోజక వర్గాలను గుర్తించి వాటిని బీసీలకు కేటాయించడం వేరు. బీసీలు ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న నియోజక వర్గాలను గుర్తించి టికెట్ ఇవ్వాలంటే ఇంతకాలం ఆ నియోజక వర్గంపై ఆశలు పెట్టుకొని, ఖర్చు భరిస్తున్న టిడిపి నాయకుల నుంచి తిరుగుబాటు వస్తుందని టిడిపి నాయకులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఇంకా అభ్యర్థుల ఖరారు చేసే పరిస్థితి వరకు వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ వెళ్లలేదు కాబట్టి వాళ్లు ఉత్సాహంగా వంద టికెట్లు కాదు వంద సీట్లు ఇద్దామని ప్రతిపాదన చేస్తున్నారని టిడిపి నాయకులు విమర్శించారు. బీసీలకు తాము టికెట్ ఇచ్చినా ఇతర పార్టీల నాయకులు అగ్రవర్ణాలకు ఇవ్వడం వల్ల సమ ఉజ్జీల మధ్య పోటీ లేక బీసీ అభ్యర్థులు ఓడిపోతారని 2009 ఎన్నికల సమయంలో చంద్రబాబు ప్రకటించారు. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు ఈ ప్రకటనలను పత్రికల నుంచి సేకరించారు. తమ ప్రతిపాదన పట్ల చంద్రబాబు స్పందన వెలువడిన తరువాత ఈ ప్రకటనల గురించి ప్రస్తావిస్తామని ఆ పార్టీ నాయకులు తెలిపారు. ఈ మాట మీరే అన్నారు కాబట్టి ఇద్దరం బీసీలకే టికెట్ ఇద్దాం. ఈ ప్రతిపాదనకు మీరు ముందుకు రావాలి అని డిమాండ్ చేస్తామని వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు అంటున్నారు.

‘మూడు నుంచి ఆరు నెలల ప్రొబేషన్ ప్రాతిపదికన ఓ జడ్జీని నియమిస్తారు. ఆ జడ్జీ తమకు అనుకూలుడని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తేనే, అతడి నియామకం ఖరారవుతోంది. సర్కారు ఇలాంటి కొత్త కొత్త పద్ధతుల్లో న్యాయవ్యవస్థను ప్రభావితం చేస్తుందని ఎవరైనా ఊహించారా?’ అని ప్రశ్నించారు. తాను పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతా బెనర్జీ ఇటీవల చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలను వల్లెవేయడం లేదని, తమ దృష్టికి వచ్చిన కొన్ని ఉదాహరణల ఆధారంగానే మాట్లాడుతున్నానని ఆయన ఒక ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానంగా చెప్పారు.

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has displayed his contempt for ethical politics and anti-corruption movements by commenting that noted social activist Anna Hazare had committed a blunder by lending support to the formation of a political party.
Naidu commented at a meeting in Kuppam on Sunday that political parties like that of Anna would only help split the opposition vote bank. He reminded that Lok Satta leader Dr Jayaprakash Narayan had split the TDP vote earlier by forming a party before 2009 elections.
Reacting sharply to this criticism, Lok Satta working president V V S Varma said Naidu’s statement had only displayed his cheap politics. Nothing could be more shameful than claiming that he, his family members and their descendants alone should have monopoly over politics and that Annas and JPs had no right of entry into politics.
“He is indulging in cheap comments because of his inability to compete with good politics and attract people with better politics. Such remarks would further hurt his credibility, far from rescuing his sinking TDP ship,” Varma said.
He said there would have been no need for Annas and JPs entering politics had traditional parties and their leaders discharged their role.
“Had Chandrababu been really interested in ethical politics, he would have welcomed the initiatives of Anna and JP and offered to align with them in elections on the basis of an agenda for good governance. Naidu lacks such wisdom,” he said.

According to party sources, Jagan has drawn a comprehensive strategy for the next elections. His objective is not just coming to power at any cost, but to get not less than 200 assembly seats.
“Jagan will not accept power if he has to take support from other parties in forming the government in the event of his party getting less than the absolute majority of 148 seats. He will also be not happy if his party wins just 150-160 seats. In fact, he would not like to become the CM with such a simple majority. He will take up the assignment only if the YSR Party gets nothing short of 200 seats. And he is making efforts in that direction,” party sources said.
However, it is easier said than done. The YSR Congress party has to struggle a lot to get 200 seats in the assembly. If Jagan is confident to get the number, he is only underestimating his political rivals – particularly, the Telugu Desam Party and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Unless he conquers a major part of Telangana, it would be difficult to think of reaching the 200 figure mark.

We need to pull strong leaders in Telangana so that we can gain as many seats as possible.
Nothing can stop JAGAN from being the CM in 2014 but we should work hard towards it.

హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 20: రాష్ట్రంలో బీసీ రాజకీయం రసవత్తరంగా సాగుతోంది. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ చేసిన ‘వంద టికెట్లు కాదు, బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు’ అనే ప్రతిపాదనను బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘ అధ్యక్షుడు ఆర్ కృష్ణయ్య ఆహ్వానించారు. కానీ టిడిపి నేతలు మాత్రం జరుగుతున్న పరిణామాలపై మండిపడుతున్నారు. ‘మేం వంద అంటే మీరు 105 అనండి పరవాలేదు. కానీ లేఖ ఏమిటి? దాన్ని ఉప సంహరించుకోండి’ అంటూ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌ను డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. టిడిపి బీసీ డిక్లరేషన్ పేరిట బీసీలకు అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో వంద సీట్లు కేటాయిస్తామని ప్రకటించి ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌లో తెదేపా హడావుడికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. వివిధ కుల సంఘాల నేతలను ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌కు తీసుకొచ్చి బాబును సత్కరించే బాధ్యతను జిల్లా నేతలకు పార్టీ నాయకత్వం అప్పగించింది. బీసీల నుంచి రోజూ ఒక కులం నాయకులు ఎన్టీఆర్ భవన్‌కు వచ్చి బాబును అభినందించే కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతంగా సాగుతోంది. ఈ హడావుడి కాస్త తగ్గుముఖం పడుతున్న సమయంలో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి ఊహించని విధంగా బీసీ రాజకీయం మొదలైంది. ‘వంద టికెట్లు కాదు, వంద సీట్లు కేటాయిద్దాం’ అంటూ వైఎస్ విజయమ్మ చంద్రబాబుకు రాసిన లేఖ టిడిపిని ఇరకాటంలో పెట్టింది. టిఆర్‌ఎస్ పార్టీ తెలంగాణ వాదంపై పేటెంట్ హక్కుగా భావిస్తున్న స్థాయిలో బీసీ అంశానికి పేటెంట్ హక్కు మాదేననే స్థాయిలో టిడిపి ప్రచారం సాగించాలని వ్యూహాత్మకంగా వ్యవహరించింది. అయితే ఈలోగా వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి కొత్త ప్రతిపాదన తెరపైకి వచ్చింది. బీసీ టికెట్లపై మీ అభిప్రాయం చెప్పాలి అని కాంగ్రెస్, వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌లను టిడిపి డిమాండ్ చేసింది. తీరా వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ కొత్త మెలిక పెట్టడంతో లేఖను ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని టిడిపి మాజీ మంత్రి బండారు సత్యనారాయణ డిమాండ్ చేశారు. టిడిపి బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు ఇస్తామంటే, మీరు 105 అని చెప్పండి. అంతే తప్ప ఇదేంటి అంటూ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రతిపాదనపై టిడిపి రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి వర్ల రామయ్య విమర్శించారు. మరో ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి అనురాధ ఇతర నేతలు సైతం ఇదేవిధంగా విమర్శించారు.
గత ఎన్నికల్లో హామీ ఇచ్చి బీసీలకు వంద సీట్లు ఇవ్వలేకపోయినప్పటికీ, ఈసారి మాత్రం బాబు కచ్చితంగా వంద సీట్లు ఇవ్వాలనే నిర్ణయంతోనే ఉన్నారని టిడిపి సీనియర్ నాయకులు తెలిపారు. అయితే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రతిపాదనను ఆమోదించే అవకాశం లేదని తెలిపారు. వంద మందికి టికెట్లు ఇవ్వడం కాదు, అసెంబ్లీకి పంపిద్దాం అంటూ ఆ పార్టీ చేసిన సూచన మంచిదే కానీ ఒకవేళ మేం దాన్ని ఆమోదిస్తే అది వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ప్రయోజనం తప్ప మాకొచ్చే ప్రయోజనం ఏముందని టిడిపి నాయకులు ప్రశ్నించారు. మెజారిటీ నియోజక వర్గాల్లో వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌కు ఇంకా అభ్యర్థులు ఖరారు కాలేదు. వీటిలో వంద నియోజక వర్గాలను బీసీ నియోజక వర్గాలుగా గుర్తించి కేటాయించేందుకు ఆ పార్టీకి వచ్చే నష్టం ఏమీ లేదు. కానీ టిడిపి అలా చేస్తే వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్‌ను అనుసరించినట్టు అవుతుందని టిడిపి నాయకులు తెలిపారు. అంతేకాదు ఇబ్బంది లేని వంద నియోజక వర్గాలను గుర్తించి వాటిని బీసీలకు కేటాయించడం వేరు. బీసీలు ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న నియోజక వర్గాలను గుర్తించి టికెట్ ఇవ్వాలంటే ఇంతకాలం ఆ నియోజక వర్గంపై ఆశలు పెట్టుకొని, ఖర్చు భరిస్తున్న టిడిపి నాయకుల నుంచి తిరుగుబాటు వస్తుందని టిడిపి నాయకులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఇంకా అభ్యర్థుల ఖరారు చేసే పరిస్థితి వరకు వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ వెళ్లలేదు కాబట్టి వాళ్లు ఉత్సాహంగా వంద టికెట్లు కాదు వంద సీట్లు ఇద్దామని ప్రతిపాదన చేస్తున్నారని టిడిపి నాయకులు విమర్శించారు. బీసీలకు తాము టికెట్ ఇచ్చినా ఇతర పార్టీల నాయకులు అగ్రవర్ణాలకు ఇవ్వడం వల్ల సమ ఉజ్జీల మధ్య పోటీ లేక బీసీ అభ్యర్థులు ఓడిపోతారని 2009 ఎన్నికల సమయంలో చంద్రబాబు ప్రకటించారు. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు ఈ ప్రకటనలను పత్రికల నుంచి సేకరించారు. తమ ప్రతిపాదన పట్ల చంద్రబాబు స్పందన వెలువడిన తరువాత ఈ ప్రకటనల గురించి ప్రస్తావిస్తామని ఆ పార్టీ నాయకులు తెలిపారు. ఈ మాట మీరే అన్నారు కాబట్టి ఇద్దరం బీసీలకే టికెట్ ఇద్దాం. ఈ ప్రతిపాదనకు మీరు ముందుకు రావాలి అని డిమాండ్ చేస్తామని వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు అంటున్నారు.

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has displayed his contempt for ethical politics and anti-corruption movements by commenting that noted social activist Anna Hazare had committed a blunder by lending support to the formation of a political party.
Naidu commented at a meeting in Kuppam on Sunday that political parties like that of Anna would only help split the opposition vote bank. He reminded that Lok Satta leader Dr Jayaprakash Narayan had split the TDP vote earlier by forming a party before 2009 elections.
Reacting sharply to this criticism, Lok Satta working president V V S Varma said Naidu’s statement had only displayed his cheap politics. Nothing could be more shameful than claiming that he, his family members and their descendants alone should have monopoly over politics and that Annas and JPs had no right of entry into politics.
“He is indulging in cheap comments because of his inability to compete with good politics and attract people with better politics. Such remarks would further hurt his credibility, far from rescuing his sinking TDP ship,” Varma said.
He said there would have been no need for Annas and JPs entering politics had traditional parties and their leaders discharged their role.
“Had Chandrababu been really interested in ethical politics, he would have welcomed the initiatives of Anna and JP and offered to align with them in elections on the basis of an agenda for good governance. Naidu lacks such wisdom,” he said.

Jagan Aiming At Nothing Short Of 200 Seats

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is said to be aiming big in the next assembly elections.
According to party sources, Jagan has drawn a comprehensive strategy for the next elections. His objective is not just coming to power at any cost, but to get not less than 200 assembly seats.
“Jagan will not accept power if he has to take support from other parties in forming the government in the event of his party getting less than the absolute majority of 148 seats. He will also be not happy if his party wins just 150-160 seats. In fact, he would not like to become the CM with such a simple majority. He will take up the assignment only if the YSR Party gets nothing short of 200 seats. And he is making efforts in that direction,” party sources said.
However, it is easier said than done. The YSR Congress party has to struggle a lot to get 200 seats in the assembly. If Jagan is confident to get the number, he is only underestimating his political rivals – particularly, the Telugu Desam Party and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Unless he conquers a major part of Telangana, it would be difficult to think of reaching the 200 figure mark.

Nothing can stop JAGAN from being the CM in 2014 but we should work hard towards it.
