This is expected as the way BJP started attacking sharmila & ysrcp but not chandrababu. Both need others support. Perhaps the internalally Ambani must have pushed for this as well as they don’t want Jagan to decide.
1999/2004 – BJP (Right)
2009 – TRS/CPM/CPI (Left)
2014 – BJP (Right)
In 1999 he used the good name of Vajpayee & Kargil war sentiment. Now, he wants to ride with the time. Babu is a baggage for any party.
Now, he wants to ride on the MODI’s image.
Not to worry.
It will be 0+0 = O if both of them join. Atleast in the state.

TDP leaders wants to play safe, seek MLC tickets.
The real reason behind these leaders seeking MLC tickets is that they are not sure of winning the next Lok Sabha or Assembly elections as the wind is certainly not in favour of the party in any of the three regions.
Unsure of Assembly win, Congressmen eye MLC seats.
With YS Jaganmohan Reddy emerging as a formidable political force in the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, and the strong Telangana sentiment still sweeping the region, several Congress stalwarts are afraid of contesting direct election to the Assembly next year.
Council poll: Scramble for TDP ticket.
Former Assembly speaker K Pratibha Bharati, ex-ministers Kadiyam Srihari and Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and several others who are not sure of winning the 2014 Assembly elections are persuading their boss to consider them for a seat in the Council.
Naidu might be exuding confidence that his party would sweep the general election next year and regain power in the state but his comrades seem to be skeptical about their party’s winning chances.
Therefore, several leaders have set their sights on Council seats which would provide them an opportunity to be in the House for six long years irrespective of the political outcome of the 2014 Assembly elections.
