CBI names Bansal as witness in rail cash-for-post case
NEW DELHI: In a move that could cause some eyebrows to be raised, the CBI has not only let former railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansaloff the hook in the Rs 10 crore cash-for-post railway bribery case, but named him as one of the prosecution witnesses. Bansal’s nephew, Vijay Singla, is a key accused in the case.
Unanswered questions.
1.If Pawan Bansal had no role to play in the cash for post deal, what is he expected to reveal as a witness?
2.Charge sheet says Singla’s “influence” was to be used to get Mahesh Kumar the post he wanted.If Bansal was not in the loop,what other “influence” did Singla have in the Railways?
3.The minister has to sign off on Railway Board posts. So how did Mahesh Kumar get his “Second Option ” without Bansal’s involvement? Was it purely on merit?
4.If the post was given on merit,Why would Mahesh Kumar be prepared to give Rs.10 Cr to get it?
5.CBI says Mahesh Kumar met Singla in Bansal ‘ s official residence in Delhi to discuss the deal. He also called on Bansal’s land line number to talk to Singla.
Is it plausible that the minister was completely oblivious to his nephew’s dubious activities?

Yesterday i saw an advertisement by central government in hindu daily regarding the financial aid to students belonging to minority sections .
The eligibility criteria:
Students who are preparing for engineering entrance examinations
Students who are preparing for state/central public service commission exams. etc..
The training/educational institues need to enroll/nominate students with in 15 days from the date of notification (i.e. yesterday).
