The situation arising out of Telengana issue related developments has left all parties in high and dry. Congress which has all along been cornered by TDP , TRS and YSRCP has hit back.
The people of Andhra and Seema are not averse to Separate State as long as their interests are protected viz Water and Hyderabad. Hyderabad as joint capital and a Broad bases arrangement for water with a neutral body administering the same. YSRCP should not run away from this issue , they should state that they are not averse to Separation if these issues are sorted out. The rights of both the regions should be protected should br ySRCP stand.
Otherwise YSRCP should try and focus on those votes in Hyderabad and surrounding districts and Khammam , who are against Separate state.
I am sure there will be anew formation in Andhra seema , who would contest the election and support UPA post elections
The Telengana leaders should be called and briefed on this matter.

One more problem could in Panchayat elections is too many contestants from YSRCP. I know at least 3 panchayats where almost 4-5 contestants are from YSRCP and only one from ( either TDP or Congress ) BTW We lost all these three which are strong hold of YSRCP when votes are counted for YSRCP members they are double to that of the winner. . But this is not an issue for MLA elections.
This could be an issue for MLA elections if we don’t finalize the candidates very soon. Right now, in many constituencies, especially Rayalseema and Andhra, there are multiple aspirants. There is a high risk of the rejected candidates contesting as independents by using YSR’s photo etc.
Our MLA’s are not resigning for SA or T.
They have done it in protest against the dictorial attitude of cong in dividing the state.
One day the cong says SA and T and on another day they SA,T and Hyd and then RT and SA !!! At the end they say April fool !!

I don’t think there is any need to beat around the bush here. It is clear that our party is not in favor of separation. I wish our party had said that clearly instead of leaving it entirely to the centre and then trying to find fault with what the centre does. Even I would find fault if the centre divides the state into two or three using whichever combination. But I am clear (personally) in my stand that I want the state to remain united. Our party is not clear in their stand that they want to the state to remain united. At least now they Vijayamma should take a clear stand demanding a united state as per the majority opinion.

I still think we did well in the panchayat polls because we are the single largest party so far, clearly ahead of others. Don’t go by newspapers and channels that lack credibility. Read Sakshi.
Having said that, it is definitely a concern that TDP and Congress who were scared of Panchayat polls when we were challenging them and demanding polls have performed fairly well. Our expectations were too high so despite being the single largest, we fell below expectations, their expectations were too low so despite faring less than us, they beat expectations.
It is high time we get Jagan anna out. The only way is to weaken CBI’s case and arguments by coming to some kind of an agreement with Congress. Already trial began on the first charge sheet. If we don’t act now, he may be sentenced before 2014 elections and then bail will become almost impossible. Plus, the new SC verdict will disqualify him from contesting elections. Although Vijayamma and Sharmilakka are good leaders, cadre would get demoralized without Jagan anna.

I don’t think Congress will insist on merging. Some kind of pre-poll or post poll arrangement can be agreed upon. Jagan already agreed to go with UPA in the center anyway, state lo we can ask them to support Jagan’s government. The trial is in a special court so it will be speedy. At least if the chargesheets were all combined and it would have been one huge chargesheet with hundreds of witnesses, the trial would have taken several years. But only first chargesheet trial ante next elections lopu verdict oche risk chaala undi. I don’t think acquittal is a possibility if the current circumstances prevail. Remember that every judge from CBI court to Supreme Court including the current CJI Sadasivam rejected Jagan anna’s bail petitions. Even one judge in the benches did not offer a different opinion or show dissent. Unless the CBI weakens the case and their arguments, there is very little chance of getting an acquittal or even a bail.
In the last judgement the Supreme Court CJ clearly stated that the next bail application will not be based on his report and it will be looked as fresh.
Even the Cong is not sure if it will come back to power at the centre due to Modi effect. If it doesn’t then the CBI will not be under pressure to attack Jagan anyway.
Then it will be the turn of Robert Vadhera to face the courts.

I am a YSJ fan too and my aim is not to confuse YSJ fans. I am just concerned that the cases have already gone too far. If we let the trial progress like this and not get bail, we may never be able to come out of it. It is better to be a Congress or Congress ally CM and fight enemy number 1: Babu.
Guys, don’t worry about panchayat results. They are purely based on local situations. I have visited all seems districts and Majabubnagar in the last 1 month. Everywhere there is a clear YSrCP wave. In our panchayat everyone is YSRCP. But two people are contesting. Party has to support only one group to claim it as YSRcp victory. In these situations, victories are going into either Others category or going into other party accounts ( in Eenadu) Because those winning candidates once belong to those parties. There are 3 panchayats in similar situation that I know of in our district. But people are clearly saying they will vote for YSRCp in MLA elections. All this media hungamma is just to boost up their partys cadre morale. So please be confident. No need to worry much about it. Cheer up guys.

Hi Nawaz, you are right that sometimes most of the people here try to keep the momentum but we are honestly the strongest force in rayalaseema and andhra. If I can believe my closest circles who are active in yrscp, we will do good in some areas in telangana like rabgareddy, hyderabad/secunderabad and nalgonda also. I am not sure about other TG districts. I just wanted to give you an example of how these panchayat elections happened lately. Thotapalligudur mandal in nellore district has congress MLA called Adala prabhakar reddy. This guy went and put congress towel on YSRCP’s unianimously elected presedient candidate and got photo shot by media. and congress added him as congress elected candidae. Then kakani govardhan reddy who is ysrcp MLA candidate there, blasted Adala there and called for press conference with the elected candidate and reassured that he is ysrcp candidate.
This is how local mla’s like congress or tdp are showing these numbers. This election is not contested on symbol so there are amny fake numbers in these numbers.
Lets see where ysrcp is in MLC and zptc elections. they are contesed on party symbol.
There is no way for any party to screen and check back ground for people while giving membership.. Its impossible.
We don’t have to worry about results.. No media has ever declared officially regarding which party won in each mandal etc.

The situation arising out of Telengana issue related developments has left all parties in high and dry. Congress which has all along been cornered by TDP , TRS and YSRCP has hit back.
The people of Andhra and Seema are not averse to Separate State as long as their interests are protected viz Water and Hyderabad. Hyderabad as joint capital and a Broad bases arrangement for water with a neutral body administering the same. YSRCP should not run away from this issue , they should state that they are not averse to Separation if these issues are sorted out. The rights of both the regions should be protected should br ySRCP stand.
Otherwise YSRCP should try and focus on those votes in Hyderabad and surrounding districts and Khammam , who are against Separate state.
I am sure there will be anew formation in Andhra seema , who would contest the election and support UPA post elections
The Telengana leaders should be called and briefed on this matter.

One more problem could in Panchayat elections is too many contestants from YSRCP. I know at least 3 panchayats where almost 4-5 contestants are from YSRCP and only one from ( either TDP or Congress ) BTW We lost all these three which are strong hold of YSRCP when votes are counted for YSRCP members they are double to that of the winner. . But this is not an issue for MLA elections.
This could be an issue for MLA elections if we don’t finalize the candidates very soon. Right now, in many constituencies, especially Rayalseema and Andhra, there are multiple aspirants. There is a high risk of the rejected candidates contesting as independents by using YSR’s photo etc.

I don’t think there is any need to beat around the bush here. It is clear that our party is not in favor of separation. I wish our party had said that clearly instead of leaving it entirely to the centre and then trying to find fault with what the centre does. Even I would find fault if the centre divides the state into two or three using whichever combination. But I am clear (personally) in my stand that I want the state to remain united. Our party is not clear in their stand that they want to the state to remain united. At least now they Vijayamma should take a clear stand demanding a united state as per the majority opinion.

I still think we did well in the panchayat polls because we are the single largest party so far, clearly ahead of others. Don’t go by newspapers and channels that lack credibility. Read Sakshi.
Having said that, it is definitely a concern that TDP and Congress who were scared of Panchayat polls when we were challenging them and demanding polls have performed fairly well. Our expectations were too high so despite being the single largest, we fell below expectations, their expectations were too low so despite faring less than us, they beat expectations.
It is high time we get Jagan anna out. The only way is to weaken CBI’s case and arguments by coming to some kind of an agreement with Congress. Already trial began on the first charge sheet. If we don’t act now, he may be sentenced before 2014 elections and then bail will become almost impossible. Plus, the new SC verdict will disqualify him from contesting elections. Although Vijayamma and Sharmilakka are good leaders, cadre would get demoralized without Jagan anna.

I don’t think Congress will insist on merging. Some kind of pre-poll or post poll arrangement can be agreed upon. Jagan already agreed to go with UPA in the center anyway, state lo we can ask them to support Jagan’s government. The trial is in a special court so it will be speedy. At least if the chargesheets were all combined and it would have been one huge chargesheet with hundreds of witnesses, the trial would have taken several years. But only first chargesheet trial ante next elections lopu verdict oche risk chaala undi. I don’t think acquittal is a possibility if the current circumstances prevail. Remember that every judge from CBI court to Supreme Court including the current CJI Sadasivam rejected Jagan anna’s bail petitions. Even one judge in the benches did not offer a different opinion or show dissent. Unless the CBI weakens the case and their arguments, there is very little chance of getting an acquittal or even a bail.

In the last judgement the Supreme Court CJ clearly stated that the next bail application will not be based on his report and it will be looked as fresh.
Even the Cong is not sure if it will come back to power at the centre due to Modi effect. If it doesn’t then the CBI will not be under pressure to attack Jagan anyway.
Then it will be the turn of Robert Vadhera to face the courts.

Guys, don’t worry about panchayat results. They are purely based on local situations. I have visited all seems districts and Majabubnagar in the last 1 month. Everywhere there is a clear YSrCP wave. In our panchayat everyone is YSRCP. But two people are contesting. Party has to support only one group to claim it as YSRcp victory. In these situations, victories are going into either Others category or going into other party accounts ( in Eenadu) Because those winning candidates once belong to those parties. There are 3 panchayats in similar situation that I know of in our district. But people are clearly saying they will vote for YSRCp in MLA elections. All this media hungamma is just to boost up their partys cadre morale. So please be confident. No need to worry much about it. Cheer up guys.

Hi Nawaz, you are right that sometimes most of the people here try to keep the momentum but we are honestly the strongest force in rayalaseema and andhra. If I can believe my closest circles who are active in yrscp, we will do good in some areas in telangana like rabgareddy, hyderabad/secunderabad and nalgonda also. I am not sure about other TG districts. I just wanted to give you an example of how these panchayat elections happened lately. Thotapalligudur mandal in nellore district has congress MLA called Adala prabhakar reddy. This guy went and put congress towel on YSRCP’s unianimously elected presedient candidate and got photo shot by media. and congress added him as congress elected candidae. Then kakani govardhan reddy who is ysrcp MLA candidate there, blasted Adala there and called for press conference with the elected candidate and reassured that he is ysrcp candidate.
This is how local mla’s like congress or tdp are showing these numbers. This election is not contested on symbol so there are amny fake numbers in these numbers.
Lets see where ysrcp is in MLC and zptc elections. they are contesed on party symbol.
There is no way for any party to screen and check back ground for people while giving membership.. Its impossible.
We don’t have to worry about results.. No media has ever declared officially regarding which party won in each mandal etc.

We should declare our candidates as soon as possible and that will give them sufficient time to do the groundwork
We should take our Policies to every door step using the local leaders
We should popularise our party symbol in the state with the help of Sakshi
We need to have self motivation to motivate others to vote for us.
I am confident that we will win the polls in 2014 .
Worse of the worse situations :
Jagan is not released before polls and the results are Hung.
Then
There will be re elections in 6 or 12 months
Jagan will be released by then and we will still win.
There is nothing to panic as our Leaders are still very young and have a long political life ahead.

it makes no sense at all, to see congress having 32% vote bank, way ahead of YSRC. surely, fudged to make congress happy.
but, we should work hard to get our votebank intact in SA and improve in TG.
