Its really painful for me to see the state being divided. The future of Telugu pride seems to be gloomy.I don’t know how YSJ would have reacted at this crucial hour had he been out of jail but we really miss a strong leader like YSR with mass appeal. 😦
The party must give a strong counter to Konda Surekha. Her letter and the statements given by her and her husband are very damaging to the party. In politics, it is very common for leaders to switch parties. Even the highest level leaders like our Central Governing Council member Surekha or TDP politburo members Mysura Reddy or Dadi left the parties. But even Mysura Reddy or Dadi did not claim that Babu sold MLC seat for 7 crores or any other amount and they did not say that his goal is to earn lakhs of crores of money. Surekha made such painful comments on Jagan. Yet, our party did not give a strong counter.
If anybody thinks she must not be countered because she left on the sensitive Telangana issue, then think about what leaders like Vivek or Manda Jagannatham or KK who left on Telangana issue did. Did they accuse Sonia of having a goal of earnings lakhs or crores? Did they accuse Sonia of using brokers to auction seats in legistlative bodies?
Four page letter explaining the reasons for YSRCP MLAs, should have been released by YSRCP on the same day their MLAs resigned. But YSRCP was sleeping and woke up lately after getting full public–outburst by Konda Surekha. YSRCP should act fast and not like acting when it is already late.

Lets not be emotional and be crystal clear about one thing, no matter what we do, TRS/Cong will be the main players in Telangana. Why YSRCP should think about Telangana when we are only nominal players??
Instead, go with full force and try to win maximum seats in Seemandhra by taking “United Stand”. I think YSRCP is already late in taking up this “united stand” proactively.
If YSRCP keeps continuing this way in a slow and defensive mode, in these historical times of Andhra State, then GOD is the only hope. I definitely feel I miss JAGAN, desperately now, to give the clear direction to the party.
I am sorry to say, YSRCP political advisors are doing a bad job. They have to think first, how to differentiate YSRCP party from others in these troubled times of Andhra Separation, they have to convince majority of Andhra people that YSRCP is doing everything for “United Andhra”.

This is very true. Some of the bloggers here seem to take Babu as a benchmark or basis for every action. A big reason why Jagan got a massive support immediately after launching a party was because people were vexed with Babu’s politics and policies (including the two eyes policy). Our party should act according to the wishes and in the best interests of the people of the state. We shouldn’t care a damn about whether Babu does doesn’t do something. Considering his actions for political strategy is one thing and using him as a basis or benchmark for every decision or action is another thing.
Ysrcp is failing to show people why they shed vote for it instead of cong/ tdp/…it’s indecisiveness on key issues of state like bifurcation makes its position miserable. Hope party realizes this and take united stand aggressively.
Jagan is smart enough to take good decisions. We shouldn’t act too fast. Just trust jagan. He will lead us to victory. Dividing state keeping jagan in mind is itself a victory for jagan.

I think atleast now YCP should take the stand of United AP officially as a party. Ask MLA’s to resign and some other back door tactics in favor of United AP will not yield the results. People are now much sensible. We may lose the 10-15 leaders who can influence in 10-15 seats but our clear stand will make the party’s core strength in coming years if not 2014, it will be 2019 or even 2023. But our party will sustain on that principle.
yes united ap should be the slogan.. this will help us sweep in seema and andhra and few seats in telangana and hyderabad and secunderabad. We will form goverment surely.
After T formation it will be completely different game. Jagan & TDP will be non existent in T. In SA all 3 parties have to fight. Jagan may have slight edge.
All surveys are coming in sync with the local body polls
We have won around 35% of seats while Cong and TDP also won similar or more percent. Surveys are saying Cong won 10-12 and TDP around 10 and YCP around 10 looks very justified. Unless some wave comes in favor of YCP in the coming months like Jagan is out or some big mistake by Cong for now the seat sharing is more or less believable.
I don’t believe the results of panchayat and local body election results are a barometer for any party’s wave in the people. These elections are done on non-party basis.I’m not telling this as a cover up for YSRCP party. If you go to any village you can see only two candidates fighting.But there are three parties…What we have to agree is YSRCP needs to finalise candidates soon. I think Jagan will do it very soon after this telanagana issue is resolved.
Though local polls are non party basis, it reflects the mood of the people because they campaign with YSRCP flag only. I think YSRCP already installed its in-charges in almost 240 constittuencies. I think we need to review our stance on T and deliver a clear stand. Abide by center’s whatever decision policy is not good idea. We all criticize Sonia and Co everyday but agree to their decision related to all Telugus is not sounds well. YSR proved there are enough votes in T for pro-united. Hope our party takes the firm stand now. I know there will be a liitle/big revolt from T leaders and may leave the party but it wont be enough or very minimal to change the poll prospects. As a party we will sustain for long.
Konda Surekha’s exit is expected. We all liked Konda couple for their support to Jagan and their sacrifice. It would have been nice and decent if they resigned the party because of the Telangana reason.
1.They are talking about 1 lakh crores—which doesn’t make any sense as these allegations were there before and why did they realized it now??
2. Regarding MLC seat-Jagan convinced them that Konda Murali and Surekha can contest in two seats of their choice and they agreed for that. So why do they talk about MLC seat now..
3. Both YS family and Konda family are close and there was lot of help on both sides.
When Devendar goud left TDP in 2009 he cited only 1 reason for his exit—Telangana.
Konda couple should have done their exit in a respectable way.
I expected that there is someone compelled her to criticize . This is the most common thing an ordinary politician would do. Cine actor Raja sekar did as per Babu’s suggestion. After that, he didn’t give any green signal to him to join party.

She could have criticized Party leadership on the party stand but didn’t expect she would make corruption allegations on Jagan. If she knew Jagan made 1 lakh crores what took her so long to leave the party. Anyway good luck to her.

Konda Sureka …..Outburst will damage YSJ Image. Poor Management by party. They could have toned down her attack. Next would be Konathala. The vociferous supporters of YSJ are leaving him.

Yes you are right purandhara. If seema is divided then there won’t be the word rayala seema in the future. Rayala seema has a rich history and culture. Our future generations will not know about rayala seema. Ysrcp should strongly oppose it.
that would be a better solution.. with more MLA’s in telangana assembly there would be more stability unlike jharkand. we should also consider opinion all rayalaseema people..

Hats off to Surekha, KK etc. If T-TDP leaders (Nagam, Devender Goud, Erraballi, Kadiam, Mothkupalli et al) & PRP leaders had exhibited half this courage on December 10, Telangana would have become a reality in 2009.
Hi jai, yes if all TG leaders had shown strong resentment how Andhra and seema people showed after 2009 announcement was taken back, TG might have been a reality by now. but what does that mean? that means not all telangana people want a separate state but only few districts and some political leaders. But if TG is separated, congress and TDP leagers in seema and andhra leaders will be pelted with stones forget about winning the seats again.
People like me feel that these kind of separatism developments should hav been exploited when there is political vacuume in the state. Why did ysr win 50% of the seats on par with TDP+TRS and communists in 2009? TG people believed in YSR’s developmental programs and I know many in TG who used fee reimbursement and aarogyasri and benifited alot.
Its really heart breaking to see that loss of YSR is very very costly to telugu people. These crooks jailed jagan and doing these kind of things.

I’m from vedhurukupam mandal, our panchayathi was own by our party with around 700 votes majority out of 2100 votes polled . Both congress and ysrcp candidates are from ysrcp. Last minuete cong gave some money and got that candidate and spent 20 + lakhs where as ysrcp spent 3.5 lakhs

I’m withdrawing my poem once written on Konda Surekha . She is no better than any other politician. it’s enough!
The party must give a strong counter to Konda Surekha. Her letter and the statements given by her and her husband are very damaging to the party. In politics, it is very common for leaders to switch parties. Even the highest level leaders like our Central Governing Council member Surekha or TDP politburo members Mysura Reddy or Dadi left the parties. But even Mysura Reddy or Dadi did not claim that Babu sold MLC seat for 7 crores or any other amount and they did not say that his goal is to earn lakhs of crores of money. Surekha made such painful comments on Jagan. Yet, our party did not give a strong counter.
If anybody thinks she must not be countered because she left on the sensitive Telangana issue, then think about what leaders like Vivek or Manda Jagannatham or KK who left on Telangana issue did. Did they accuse Sonia of having a goal of earnings lakhs or crores? Did they accuse Sonia of using brokers to auction seats in legistlative bodies?
Four page letter explaining the reasons for YSRCP MLAs, should have been released by YSRCP on the same day their MLAs resigned. But YSRCP was sleeping and woke up lately after getting full public–outburst by Konda Surekha. YSRCP should act fast and not like acting when it is already late.

This is very true. Some of the bloggers here seem to take Babu as a benchmark or basis for every action. A big reason why Jagan got a massive support immediately after launching a party was because people were vexed with Babu’s politics and policies (including the two eyes policy). Our party should act according to the wishes and in the best interests of the people of the state. We shouldn’t care a damn about whether Babu does doesn’t do something. Considering his actions for political strategy is one thing and using him as a basis or benchmark for every decision or action is another thing.
Ysrcp is failing to show people why they shed vote for it instead of cong/ tdp/…it’s indecisiveness on key issues of state like bifurcation makes its position miserable. Hope party realizes this and take united stand aggressively.

I think atleast now YCP should take the stand of United AP officially as a party. Ask MLA’s to resign and some other back door tactics in favor of United AP will not yield the results. People are now much sensible. We may lose the 10-15 leaders who can influence in 10-15 seats but our clear stand will make the party’s core strength in coming years if not 2014, it will be 2019 or even 2023. But our party will sustain on that principle.

All surveys are coming in sync with the local body polls
We have won around 35% of seats while Cong and TDP also won similar or more percent. Surveys are saying Cong won 10-12 and TDP around 10 and YCP around 10 looks very justified. Unless some wave comes in favor of YCP in the coming months like Jagan is out or some big mistake by Cong for now the seat sharing is more or less believable.
I don’t believe the results of panchayat and local body election results are a barometer for any party’s wave in the people. These elections are done on non-party basis.I’m not telling this as a cover up for YSRCP party. If you go to any village you can see only two candidates fighting.But there are three parties…What we have to agree is YSRCP needs to finalise candidates soon. I think Jagan will do it very soon after this telanagana issue is resolved.

Though local polls are non party basis, it reflects the mood of the people because they campaign with YSRCP flag only. I think YSRCP already installed its in-charges in almost 240 constittuencies. I think we need to review our stance on T and deliver a clear stand. Abide by center’s whatever decision policy is not good idea. We all criticize Sonia and Co everyday but agree to their decision related to all Telugus is not sounds well. YSR proved there are enough votes in T for pro-united. Hope our party takes the firm stand now. I know there will be a liitle/big revolt from T leaders and may leave the party but it wont be enough or very minimal to change the poll prospects. Konda Surekha’s exit is expected. We all liked Konda couple for their support to Jagan and their sacrifice. It would have been nice and decent if they resigned the party because of the Telangana reason.
1.They are talking about 1 lakh crores—which doesn’t make any sense as these allegations were there before and why did they realized it now??
2. Regarding MLC seat-Jagan convinced them that Konda Murali and Surekha can contest in two seats of their choice and they agreed for that. So why do they talk about MLC seat now..
3. Both YS family and Konda family are close and there was lot of help on both sides.
When Devendar goud left TDP in 2009 he cited only 1 reason for his exit—Telangana.

వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు, ఎంపి జగన్మోహన రెడ్డి సోదరి షర్మిల మరో ప్రజాప్రస్థానం పాదయాత్ర రేపటికి మూడు వేల కిలోమీటర్ల మైలురాయి అధిగమించనుంది. ఆగస్ట్ 4న పాదయాత్ర ముగింపు సందర్భంగా ఇచ్చాపురంలో మహాముగింపు సభ నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఎంపి మేకపాటి రాజమోహన రెడ్డి చెప్పారు. ప్రపంచంలో ఏ మహిళ చేయని విధంగా షర్మిల పాదయాత్ర సాగిందన్నారు. ఇచ్చాపురంలో జరిగే మహాముగింపు సభకు రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని జిల్లాల పార్టీ శ్రేణులు హాజరుకావాలని ఆయన పిలుపు ఇచ్చారు. ఢిల్లీలో ఏం చేస్తున్నారో అర్థం కావడం లేదన్నారు. రాష్ట్రాన్ని ఎన్ని ముక్కలు చేస్తారో, ఎంత చిన్నాభిన్నం చేస్తారోనని ప్రజలు ఉత్కంఠగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు. ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని దారుణంగా కించపరుస్తున్నారని విమర్శించారు. ప్రజల జీవితాలతో ఆడుకుంటూ, గందరగోళం సృష్టించి పబ్బం గడుపుకుంటున్నారన్నారు. వైఎస్ఆర్ సీపీలో ఎవరికీ అన్యాయం జరగదని, అపోహలన్నీ తొలగిపోతాయని చెప్పారు.

Yes you are right purandhara. If seema is divided then there won’t be the word rayala seema in the future. Rayala seema has a rich history and culture. Our future generations will not know about rayala seema. Ysrcp should strongly oppose it.
that would be a better solution.. with more MLA’s in telangana assembly there would be more stability unlike jharkand. we should also consider opinion all rayalaseema people..

Hats off to Surekha, KK etc. If T-TDP leaders (Nagam, Devender Goud, Erraballi, Kadiam, Mothkupalli et al) & PRP leaders had exhibited half this courage on December 10, Telangana would have become a reality in 2009.
Anyway, better late than never.
Hi jai, yes if all TG leaders had shown strong resentment how Andhra and seema people showed after 2009 announcement was taken back, TG might have been a reality by now. but what does that mean? that means not all telangana people want a separate state but only few districts and some political leaders. But if TG is separated, congress and TDP leagers in seema and andhra leaders will be pelted with stones forget about winning the seats again.
People like me feel that these kind of separatism developments should hav been exploited when there is political vacuume in the state. Why did ysr win 50% of the seats on par with TDP+TRS and communists in 2009? TG people believed in YSR’s developmental programs and I know many in TG who used fee reimbursement and aarogyasri and benifited alot.
Its really heart breaking to see that loss of YSR is very very costly to telugu people. These crooks jailed jagan and doing these kind of things.

I’m from vedhurukupam mandal, our panchayathi was own by our party with around 700 votes majority out of 2100 votes polled . Both congress and ysrcp candidates are from ysrcp. Last minuete cong gave some money and got that candidate and spent 20 + lakhs where as ysrcp spent 3.5 lakhs
I am from mangalagiri area. In mangalagiri 3 Mandals ysrcp won 68% panchayats.
Where they lost tdp, Cong , CPi , CPm put a combined candidates.
those who can not take criticism with a smile like YSR are like BABU. Plz learn to accept criticism from supporters when you change your words and stand.
