The YSR Congress is very much inclined to go with the CPM as the latter was the only party to strongly oppose the division of the state. “It would be a win-win situation for both the parties as the CPM commands more than 5,000 votes in each Assembly constituency and can play a decisive role in about 40 constituencies,” said a senior CPM leader who is privy to the development.
Incidentally, the two political parties that staunchly stand for a united state will be contesting in Telangana as well, apart from projecting themselves as the winning combination in the Seemandhra region. Although Khammam is in Telangana, Jagan in his public meeting on Thursday persisted with his united state stand and got away with it.

Though I am native of Warangal district, I am really counting on Jagan in Seemandhra. I have couple of suggestions from my end. Just to let you know, Iam a silent follower of this blog from 5 years.
– this election being crucial at this juncture of bifurcation, it is our responsibility to let all the people of seemandhra know our plans/blue print to develop seemandhra not just by Quoting Singapore or Washington. We have to include it in our speeches in addition to our social welfare schemes.

Hyderabad: The TDP is making all-out efforts to rope in the popular film actor “Power star” Pawan Kalyan into the party fold.
According to sources, several party leaders were in constant touch with Pawan on this issue. It is learnt that the party has been trying to convince him not to float another party but instead contest either on TDP ticket or even as an independent from any constituency he likes. The TDP would extend its full support to him, the party leaders are understood to have assured him.
It even made a bumper offer saying that it was ready to fund his poll expenses.On Saturday, TDP sent two of its important leaders CM Ramesh and Ganta Srinivasa Rao to meet Pawan and convince him to accept the TDPs hand of friendship.
The party feels that if Pawan accepts their proposal it would help them in winning over the Kapu vote particularly in the West and East Godavari districts. Moreover if the dealcomes through, the party will have three star campaigners, Balakrishna, Pawan and Jr NTR. Sources said following this, Pawan who had announced that he would speak with media on Sunday had put off his decision and would announce a fresh date soon.

Reddys are backed on congress party.Kammas are always against congress and supported anti congress parties till TDP formation.

then on words to keep his position safe started factionism.
started to bring splits into Reddys villages.
intimidated strong village leaders.
opponent kasu is a kind of old fashioned politician. doesn’t encourage all.
when the victim of kodela TDP comes and ask the kasu help or intervention he use to say ” i don’t entertain these type of politics”.
taking kasu attitude as advantage kodela become very very strong.
in fact in one of election kasu did not support doddan balakrishna Reddy then congress contender. he just lost in that election with 2-3 k marjin.
Finally there was a talk that as long as kasu there in narasaraopet, kodela don’t need to worry for his victory.
typical narasaraopet village people are like that if they back on one side, they don’t change their stand. thats how kodela never crossed 10k majority though 5 times MLA.This is because of strong Reddys as they cant go and bend to kamma kodela.
Finally in 2004 in YSR wave Kasu won against his arch rival kodeal with 15k record majority. everybody felt kasu can’t re- elect,it was just YSR wave.
But his son mahesh Reddy who made the change.
his aggression dominated the kodela politics and gave support to congress followers,thats how kasu won in 2009.
But when YSR died kasu family didn’t back on YSR family.
everybody thought kasu family definitely join in YSR congress.
though mahesh was interested to join, kasu stopped him.
they are going to pay for it. their political life is at stake.now.
all Reddys rallied towards YSR congress and a leader called gopireddy srinivasa reddy emerged as leader.
as per my knowledge kasu or mahesh is not going to contest in this elections (good sign as there is no chance to split Reddys votes) if not at least from narasaraopet.
