A pre-poll survey conducted by Aaraa, a city-based agency, has predicted that the YSR Congress could get between 105 and 112 Assembly seats and 15 to 18 Lok Sabha seats in Seemandhra.
Agastya Research and Analysis Agency (Aaraa), the agency which carried out the statewide pre-poll survey, said it structured the sample to reflect constituency-level caste combinations of voters.
The halfway mark in the 175-seat Seemandhra House is 88. The Telugu Desam-BJP combine could win 55 to 65 Assembly seats and seven to 10 Lok Sabha seats, the survey showed.

That is exactly the reason why they are showing TDP+BJP allioance figures so high . They showed a swing of 18% votes within one month. How can there ever be a swing of 18% with in one month….when there was nothing changed.

Rebel trouble to hit Telugu Desam hard
Things are not going according to plan for the Telugu Desam, which has a lot of hope of coming back to power in Andhra Pradesh.
The party is facing problems of rebel candidates, internal back stabbing due to tickets given to defectors and for denying tickets to the party’s own MLAs.
Another issue the party is facing is losing Muslim votes because of its alliance with the BJP. In Andhra Pradesh, out of 175 Assembly seats, there are 85 segments with more than 10,000 Muslim voters.
The TD has given 16 Assembly tickets and six Lok Sabha tickets to the Congress sitting MLAs and MPs who have defected to the party. In addition to that, in some Assembly constituencies, the party has given tickets to the Congress leaders who joined in the last minute. For this, nine TD MLAs and six defected MLAs have been denied tickets.
Meanwhile, the TD-BJP alliance is not working as was expected by leaders of both the parties. TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu is himself facing rebel problems in his Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district as BJP leader Tulasi Natham has filed his nomination from here.

[Naidu Fails to Make Rebels Withdraw
After successfully overcoming the hurdles in the way of seat-sharing with the BJP, the TDP leadership is now faced with the uphill task of making party rebels withdraw from the fray. In as many as 20 Assembly constituencies TDP rebels have filed nominations against the official candidates.
Despite appeal from party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, the rebels are in no mood to withdraw their nominations. The TDP leaders are making efforts to persuade them to withdraw from the contest but they are not making much progress.
This apart, the presence of TDP rebels in constituencies allotted to the BJP has come as a major embarrassment to the yellow party. At three places, Guntakal, Santanutalapadu and Kadapa, the TDP candidates filed nomination papers with B forms though they have been allotted to the BJP. In Kaikaluru a TDP rebel is in fray. Though party leaders have initiated dialogue it is not clear if they will withdraw from the contest.

Sharmila peps up YSRC hopes in city
Y.S. Sharmila’s back to back road shows and meetings in the Greater Hyderabad region on Sunday came as a morale booster for the local YSR Congress Party candidates and their cadre. As part of the “Jana Bheri” programme, Sharmila campaigned in the Assembly constituencies of Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad, Sanathnagar and Serilingampally. Unmindful of the heat, impressive crowds turned up at the meeting venues.
Some were taken by surprise by the crowd at the meeting venues. “In the last two decades or so, I have never seen such a big meeting here. We were not even prepared for it,” said M. Raju, a pan shop owner.
The next road show was at B. S. Maktha which falls under Khairatabad constituency. As Sharmila and Khairatabad Assembly candidate P. Vijaya Reddy waded through the congested by-lanes of the locality, the locals started joining the convoy. “Please vote for my sister,” appealed Sharmila hugging Vijaya Reddy atop a campaign van which was followed by thunderous applause.
“After this show, I am very confident Vijaya is going to win looking at the crowd response. Two days back, sitting MLA Danam Nagender held a meeting here but the crowd was not even half of what it was today,” said N. Ranjit, one among many youngsters dancing gleefully to the campaign songs.

One week back oly I commented in blog lagadapati survey whch was leaked by srinivas reddy his right hand was showing ysrcp will get 107 seats and now araa survey shows 105 to112 seats close to reality with lagadapati survey ………..
An 8% vote difference means its a sweep which means 2/3 majority.. so if 8% vote difference is true, then it will be more than 120 mla seats ..
