మాజీ మంత్రి ఎస్వీ సుబ్బారెడ్డి మూడవ కుమార్తె అయిన శోభ ఇంటర్మీడియెట్ వరకు రెగ్యులర్ గా చదివి ఆ తరువాత డిస్టెన్స్ ద్వారా డిగ్రీ పూర్తి చేశారు. చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి తండ్రి రాజకీయ వ్యవహారాలను దగ్గరగా గమనించిన అనుభవంతో ప్రత్యక్ష రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చిన అనతి కాలంలో రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి నేతగా ఎదిగారు. శోభకు ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలు, ఒక కుమారుడు. ఫ్యాక్షన్ రాజకీయాల్లో మహిళలు రాణించడం అంత సులువు కాదు. అయినా శోభ అన్నింటినీ భరించి, ఎదురొడ్డి రాష్ట్రంలోనే అతికొద్ది మంది ముఖ్య మహిళా నేతల్లో ఒకరుగా నిలిచారు.
ఫ్యాక్షన్ రాజకీయాలు వద్దని, ప్రశాంత జీవితం కావాలని నిత్యం భర్త భూమాకు చెప్పేది. ఫ్యాక్షన్ కు వ్యతిరేకంగా భూమా నాగిరెడ్డి శాంతియాత్ర చేయడం వెనుక శోభ కీలకపాత్ర పోషించారు. ఆళ్లగడ్డ నియోజకవర్గంలోని ప్రతి గ్రామంలో పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలను పేరు పేరునా పిలువగలిగేంత సన్నిహితంగా ఉంటారామె. కార్యకర్తలయినా, ప్రజలైనా తమ సమస్యలను చెప్పుకునేందుకు భూమా నాగిరెడ్డి కంటే శోభను కలవడానికే ఇష్టపడతారు. ఒక రకంగా చెప్పాలంటే భూమా నాగిరెడ్డి రాజకీయ భవిష్యత్తు శోభానే.

తెలుగువాళ్లేం తక్కువ తిన్నారు? ఎన్నికలలో దొంగ ఖర్చుల కోసం పబ్లిక్‌గా తీసుకుపోబడుతున్న సొమ్ములు దేశం మొత్తంమీద మన రాష్ట్రంలోనే, ఎక్కువగా దొరుకుతున్నాయ్! ఇదివరకోసారి బంగలూరు అభ్యర్థులకు సంబంధించి ఎ.డి.ఆర్ సంస్థ పరిశోధనల్ని చూశాం. ఇప్పుడు మన సంగతి కూడా ‘అసోసియేషన్ ఫర్ డెమోక్రాటిక్ రిఫార్మ్స్’ వారు ఆరా తీశారు.
ఎన్నికలలో నిలబడాలంటే హీనపక్షం చిన్న సైజు కోటీశ్వరుడై వుండాలి. 256 మంది అభ్యర్థులు ‘బరి’లో వున్నారు. అందులో 74 మంది ‘కరోడ్‌పతులు’. అందులోనూ దళసరి కోటీశ్వరులు. ఈసారి ‘కో’ల శాతం 28కి పెరిగింది. పాత అంచనా 20 శాతం మాత్రమే. పోటీలో వున్నవారు వెల్లడి చేసిన సంపదను కూడా దామాషా తీస్తేనే సగటున ప్రతి అభ్యర్థికి 8.49 కోట్ల రూపాయలు పడుతున్నది. అయితే, చాలామంది వూహించుకున్నట్లు కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థులలో మహా సంపన్నులు ఎక్కువగా లేరు. తెలుగుదేశమే రిచ్చెస్ట్! 89 శాతం టి.డి.పి; కాగా అటు తర్వాత టి.ఆర్.ఎస్.దే ర్యాంకు. ఆశ్చర్యంగా వుందా? 82 శాతం మంది కోటీశ్వర అభ్యర్థులు వాళ్లే!
ఐతే, కాం.పా. మాత్రం ఏమీ తక్కువ తినలేదు. 81 శాతం కోటీశ్వరులున్నారు. కాగా- ఆమ్ ఆద్‌మీ పార్టీలో సగం మంది మాత్రం కోటి రూపాయలకన్నా ఎక్కువ ఆస్తిపరులున్నారు.
గెలవాలి కదా, అప్పుడు రాబడి పెరగాలి.
అందరికన్నా ‘రిచ్’ అంటే మన ‘నందన్’ అన్నమాట. చేవెళ్ల నుండి లోక్‌సభకి టి.ఆర్.స్. టిక్కెట్ మీద పార్లమెంట్‌కి పోటీ చేస్తున్న కొండా వెంకటేశ్వర రెడ్డిగారు- రూపాయలకొండే! ఆయనగారి ఆస్తి ఎంతో తెలుసునా? 528 కోట్ల రూపాయలు. ఆయన వెనుకనున్నవాడు 388 కోట్ల మోతుబరి. ఖమ్మం టి.డి.పి అభ్యర్థి అయిన ‘నానా’. అనగా నామా నాగేశ్వర్రావు. పెద్దపల్లి కాం.పా. అభ్యర్థి గెడ్డాం వివేకానంద్‌కి 226 కోట్ల రూపాయల ఆస్తి వున్నట్లు నామినేషన్ పత్రం చూపిస్తోంది. ఈయనగారి ఆస్తి పోయినసారి 173 కోట్ల రూపాయలయితే యిప్పుడు ఎంత పెరిగిందో చూడండి. వివేకానంద్‌గారు 72 నుండి 266కి ఎదిగాడు.
మొత్తంమీద అందరి ఆస్తులూ ‘కోట్ల’లోనే యిబ్బడిముబ్బడిగా పెరిగాయ్ (రూపాయి వాల్యూ పడిపోలేదా?) సరే! వై.ఎస్.ఆర్. పార్టీ అభ్యర్థుల సగటు ఆస్తి వివరాలు చూడగా 4.29 కోట్ల రూపాయలు. అలాగే భాజపా అభ్యర్థుల సరాసరి 26.73. ‘ఆప్’ వాళ్ల ఆస్తుల ఏవరేజ్ 1.47 కోట్లు.
అయితే, వాస్తవం మరొకటుంది. అభ్యర్థులలో సగం (51 శాతం) మంది కన్న ఎక్కువ- తమ తమ ఆదాయం పన్ను వివరాలు యివ్వలేదు. 23 శాతం మంది ‘ప్యాన్‌కార్డు’ వివరాలు చెప్పలేదు. ఇక నేర చరిత్రగల వారి సంఖ్య ‘దిట్టం’గానే వుంది.

Good message, but they gave wrong reason. Seats do not matter. If one person gets elected, that does not change situation of many in the community who are struggling. YSR did a lot to community and that is the reason for voting for YSRCP.

in the last election, the current YSRC candidate, Naveen Nischal, who contested as an independent, lost to the TDP candidate, Abdul Ghani, by around 7,000 votes while the Congress came third.
While it has been widely predicted that cine actor N. Balakrishna will win hands down from the Hindupur Assembly constituency, the ground situation seems to project a different scenario.
“If Balakrishna is voted to power, we are not sure that he will be either available locally or understand our problems. It will be better that we vote for a local candidate who would at least be available to listen to our problems,” the Muslim leader said.
Nandamuri Balakrishna not canvassing for more than three days at a stretch in the constituency, besides the fact that he had only gone around on his vehicle rather than to the people’s houses doesn’t seem to have gone down well with people even as Naveen Nischal is leaving no stone unturned, visiting every household to ensure victory.

anna, I heard that Naveen Nischal is doing door to door campaign and BJP alliance is working against to TDP there.. we have very good chances to beat TDP in hindupur. In this sad time of missing Shobha nagireddy garu, I just wanted to remind our goal thats approaching in 2 weeks time… Jagan will not let Allagadda goto TDP.. If EC does not allow for re-election or continuing the same list, we will adopt an independent or or TDP candidate may join us. we are not new to politics and be assured about this.
And one good news I got some reliable source is, we are going to win Khammam MP with above 50K majority. Poguleti Srinivas Reddy has very good survey done by sakshi media.

హైదరాబాద్: రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో మరణించిన వైఎస్సార్ సీసీ నాయకులు భూమా శోభానాగిరెడ్డి కళ్లను దానం చేశారు. శోభానాగిరెడ్డి కోరిక మేరకు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఆమె కళ్లను దానం చేశారు. శోభానాగిరెడ్డి పార్థీవదేహం నుంచి నయనాలను సేకరించి వైద్యులు భద్రపరిచారు. శోభానాగిరెడ్డి కళ్లతో ఇద్దరికి వెలుగు ప్రసాదించనున్నారు. శోభానాగిరెడ్డి మరణించినా తన కళ్లను దానం చేసి చీకటి జీవితాల్లో వెలుగు నింపారు. శోభానాగిరెడ్డి కళ్లు దానం చేయడాన్ని సామాజికవేత్తలు, వైఎస్సార్ సీపీ నాయకులు ప్రశంసించారు. నేత్రదానం చేసి శోభానాగిరెడ్డి ఆదర్శంగా నిలిచారని కొనియాడారు.

Once I was travelling with my family from Vizag to Vij, the driver was going at around 130+kmph…..the car was really moving on the air…just one bump or stone is enough to Topple….We all know about the road conditions in India……I was shocked and immediately asked him to stop the car and gave him a lecture, and insisted that if he continues to speed up, we will not sit in the car…

Very sad day. I felt really sad today. She had a very good smile and a good figter. Definitely miss her in politics :(.
Bhuma family has been with us since YSR has left us. Just few days before the elections, she is no-more.. what a sad day? Hard to digest.. and missing her smiling face….
