In a hindu majority country, where opponents can make an issue out of small things, I do not know if it is politically wise to carry and display it in public. It should be a private affair. I spoke to my mother in law yesterday who has some Telangana sentiment but rarely talks about caste.

In a hindu majority country, where opponents can make an issue out of small things, I do not know if it is politically wise to carry and display it in public. It should be a private affair. People are not broad minded and can easily get carried away with sentiments or sub consciousness. Opponents cleverly add fuel to emotions. Being in politics, intentions to attract a section can be common. A more subtle and fine approach can be productive, and not overt approach that is counterproductive. In a plural society like ours, best is to keep religion outside public life, and not mix religion and service.
Like IG, a genuine, simple, serene, approachable and pleasant public appearance where all sections relate to you is always rewarded by votes. Changing dresses like popular NTRR estyle will be an unpopular laughingstock. I spoke to my mother in law yesterday who has some Telangana sentiment but rarely talks about caste.
She was telling me that that although there was Telangana sentiment in the public for many years it reached the peak in people’s mind after seeing Ramoji and Lagadapti etc occupy hundreds of acres in the city.
She told me that she was very upset with TV9 for their cheap talk and also with the Yellow scum bags for what they were doing to Sharmila.
