YSRCP Central Governing Council Member M.V.Mysoora Reddy said that the capital of Andhra Pradesh must be formed at a place which is equidistant and accessible to all parts of the state.
“The TDP government is influencing the Sivaramakrishnan Committee, which was formed to find out the site for the new capital for Andhra Pradesh,” said Mysoora Reddy.
The former minister questioned the intention behind the formation of advising committee when the Sivaramakrishnan Committee was already working on it.
“Are the members of advising committee technical experts in the field?” asked Mysoora Reddy.
He advised the state government to form the capital at a place where the government lands are available in plenty. “The stress should be on providing the basic facilities in the capital,” said Mysoora.
“Formation of the capital on the lines of Singapore and Putrajaya is not possible at a place where private lands are available,” commented the YSRCP leader.

విజయవాడ, గుంటూరు ప్రాంతంలో రాజధానికి అవసరమైన భూములు లేవని శివరామకృష్ణన్ కమిటీ అభిప్రాయపడినా అక్కడే రాజధాని అంటూ ప్రకటనలు చేయడంతో ఆ ప్రాంతంలో భూముల ధరలు ఆకాశాన్ని అంటాయని, ఇందుకు మంత్రి నారాయణ, ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబులే కారణమని ఆరోపించారు. కర్నూలును రాజధాని చేసే అంశాన్ని తీవ్రంగా పరిగణించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. రాజధాని ఇవ్వకపోతే తక్షణం ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ఉద్యమాన్ని చేపడుతామని హెచ్చరించారు.
విద్యార్థుల ఉద్యమానికి వైకాపా, కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలు సంపూర్ణ మద్దతు ప్రకటించాయి. శాస్ర్తియంగా అధ్యయనం చేసి రాజధాని ఎక్కడనే అంశాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తున్న కేంద్ర కమిటీని కాదని మంత్రి నారాయణ ప్రకటనలు చేయడంపై రెండు పార్టీల నేతలు అభ్యంతరం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఆయన చేతిలో కీలుబొమ్మ మాదిరిగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. రాయలసీమ ప్రజల ఆకాంక్ష అయిన రాజధానిని కర్నూలు లేదా రాయలసీమలో ఏక్కడో ఒకచోట ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, లేదంటే ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ఉద్యమం తీవ్రస్థాయికి చేరుకుంటుందని వైకాపా, కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు ప్రభుత్వానికి హెచ్చరిక జారీ చేశారు.

What Jagan to do now ?
YSRCP should take this opportunity of capital issue and elaborate pros and cons of each place that was floating around in news as capital city. From each town of AP identify the intellectual speakers to tell their opinion. At same time explain people the constructive approach of the party approach towards different issues . Sakshi media can be used as right platform to orchestrate capital issue and loan wavier scheme . The voice to be heard from deep down not from YSRCP MP YV subbareddy.
Sivaramkrishnan committee seems to be under tremendous political pressure from TDP activists to influence the decision of state capital. YSRCP should exploit this on intellectual plat form various sections of society.
I think we need to be pro active , shed egos and attract the strong Cong leaders like Botsa , Kanna , Raguveera , Vundavalli , KVP , Anam Ramnarayana , Sabbam etc. I think they might be faithful this time as they need us more than they need them. All of them hate Babu.
If one leaves two should come in.

HC , IIT, IT , AIIMS etc should be equally disyributed to all areas and not just to one area where their community lives.
If they do not listen then warn them that we will change the Capital when we come to power.
Difficult balancing act for YCP anna. Not antagonising the people of G-K-WG-EG districts, including YCP and non-YCP supporters (who fell prey to maya kootami) there, a future strategy may be formalised. I hope the vested interests are not setting up people of GRS against people of Coastal AP for settling political score with YCR, just like how they did creating and fanning a TS agitation between ’09 and ’14.

[Vested Media + Some Politicians] appears to have done the same during TS agitation, confusing, emotionally agitating both sides several times and finally breaking AP.
The last few days of Capital announcement or Loan waiver, appears may be based on the above strategy. Some see it as CB’s media management skills while others see it as media manufacturing public consent and manipulating them towards falsehood. If TS and AP Govt’s are genuinely doing selfless work for people instead of their kin’s future one must appreciate. Certainly analysis of past history and recent developments do not show we are heading in a right direction.

Sivaramakrishnan Panel Suggests Decentralized Model
The AP government has told the Sivaramakrishnan committee that they are looking for 13-14 places for locating different organisations and offices, Ravindran said, but hinted that the TDP regime may be rethinking on a location close to Vijayawada-Guntur for the new capital.
“I am not against the Vijayawada region being made the capital, but the land is highly fertile and thereby highly priced,” Sivaramakrishnan committee member Ravindran said.

But there are other parameters to be taken into consideration to set up a capital.
Availability of land is an issue in Vijayawada-Guntur belt. Lot of fertile land, where multiple cropping is going on, has to be acquired and huge compensation needs to be paid. If farmers are thrown out of their fertile land, the issue of food security also arises You can’t displace people or rob them of livelihood for a capital,” Mr Sivaramakrishnan and another committee member Mr A. Ravi, said.
