HYDERABAD: Giving a major blow to the TDP in Telangana, five of its MLCs quit the party to join the TRS and two of them have already joined the pink party.
Causing further embarrasment, the five MLCs have planned a strategy to escape anti-defection law. TDP has 7 members in the Legislative Council and out of them, five MLCs have already bid adieu to the party.
The five Telangana TDP MLCs, including Bodakanti Venkateswarlu, Balasani Lakshminarayana and Narendra Reddy Gangadhar Goud and Saleem on Monday met Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud and told him that they would merge their party with the TRS.

తుఫాను నష్టం అంచనాను రూపొందించడంలో తీవ్ర జాప్యం ప్రదర్శించిన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వం ఎట్టకేలకు ఓ అంచనాకొచ్చింది. హుదుద్‌ విధ్వంసం వల్ల జరిగిన నష్టాన్ని లెక్కగట్టి కేంద్రానికి నివేదిక పంపింది. ఆ నివేదిక ప్రకారం హుదుద్‌ విధ్వంసం విలువ 21, 640 కోట్ల రూపాయలు. కానీ ఈ మొత్తంలో అంతులేని కోతలు విధించి చివరగా రాష్ట్రానికి పంపించింది ముష్టి 400 కోట్లు!
ఈ పరిస్థితి కారణం ఏమిటి? ఎవరిని నిందించాలి? ఆలస్యంగా నివేదికలు సిద్ధం చేసిన ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని తప్పుబట్టాలా? నష్టం విలువ తెలిసి కూడా నిర్లక్ష్యంగా సాయం ప్రకటించిన కేంద్రం తీరును నిరసించాలా? హుదుద్‌ విషయంలో అత్యంత చురుగ్గా వ్యవహరించాలని ప్రచారం చేసుకున్న టీడీపీ సర్కారు, తుఫాను వెళ్లిన 15 రోజుల వరకూ నివేదికలు సిద్ధం చేయకుండా ఏం చేసింది?

వై.ఎస్.హయాంలో క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ కు 36 రూపాయలు ధర ఉంటె ఇప్పుడు ఏకంగా ప్రభుత్వం 650 రూపాయల కు పెంచింది..దీని ఫలితంగా గతంలో ఒక ట్రాక్టర్ ఇసుక కొనడానికి 750 రూపాయలు అయితే ఇప్పుడు 10 వేల రూపాయల వరకు అవుతుంది.
