Hyderabad: The leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening.Jagan will discuss with the Prime Minister about the funds the state is due to get from the Centre as per the AP State Reorganisation Act 2014.
He will also discuss the issue of special status to the state and packages the Centre had promised in connection with the construction of capital city. Jagan is also likely to take up the issue of speeding up work on the Polavaram project.
He will also discuss the problems that some farmers were facing from land pooling and ask the PM to intervene and direct the State government not to cause problems for the farmers who were not willing to part with their land.
The opposition leader will also explain how the State government was adamant in going ahead with the Pattiseema project and how it would adversely affect the state interests. He will try to impress the Prime Minister that there was no need for this project.
